thanks everyone. Iv read quit abit but iv got more to read yet!!! Was checking out Fast Bud btw. Iv heard it bes ready from seed to harvest in 7 and a half weeks? Wow that sounds too fast?

The bare minimum would be lowryder 2 in a 2qt pot, on a sunny widow sill. With miracle grow organic potting soil. Water when it's light, cut it down in 10 weeks, hang it for 4 day's jar it for two weeks. You'll get something to smoke.

You won't get great results without like 50 hours of reading min and then you'll know the initial investment is a $300-$600 bucks. But if you do it right yield value pays for itself soon enough.

I will always suggest MI5 as a beginners strain. MI5 is an awesome stone and an easy to grow auto. She's never let me down. Hands down the best pot I ever grew was in a grow tent under a blackstar 240w LED.

MI5? Well id like to start off with a small strain at first iv seen some which says they are 50 cm is that true? Iv also heard lst and topping so gonner give that a read sometime soon. Just gonner do a small grow in a little box for now...

Topping doesn't work well with autos in my personal experience. If autos get slowed down or stunted you don't have much recovery time and the damage is permanent. LST works for autos. If you want your plant to stay smaller you can use a smaller pot, like a two gallon. Breeder descriptions should always be taken with a few grains of salt.

Many Autos are short coz they flower when little and finish quickly without any need for circumcision

Well im gonner keep it under one 100 watt bulb and using good soil mixture with veg nutes and bloom nutes. like this cud i be successfull?

one thing i can tell you is to READ READ READ and READ some more.

just soak in as much information as you can learning the basics before jumping the gun.


to answer your question:

general rule of lights = 100w per + 50w additional. (actual watts)

but even this has different rules as well.
ex: you might get away with lower watts with stronger lights / you might need more watts for weaker lights etc.

have you read up on soils? nutrients?

you can try some basic TRIO (simple and its the reason i went with it for my first and current micro grow)
