Just to add, i took a small smoke sample at around day 47 from seed, obviously nothing taste wise due to speed drying but i was really suprised at the strenghth of the high for such an early bud, probably due to how early i took this sample my high was slightly different to si1984's, i got a really heady 'up' made me feel really chatty and buzzed and then after an hour i slipped into a nice chilled relaxed indica stone, very impressed. I too have one of these beans left and seeing as both your's and si's plants look far better than mine i'm looking forward to giving this little beauty another go!

Very nice si your girl is a lot heftier than mine lol but I see you had a lot more power on her. Looking at yours and mine at around the same age they look similar in maturity mine being a little more behind at that age(I'm sure due to less light). I kept mine small by planting her in only a .75 gallon or so pot( for space reasons). But it's been an awesome plant and can't wait for it to swell. Prolly will tak me more around the 70 day mark. Ill keep updating pictures on this thread.

About how long does it take for the buds to swell up and meet at the other node I guess I'm getting anxious for it to look like one big bud lol. I need to learn how to upload pics (not very computer literate!) I'd say that another 10 days mate and you should see main cola coming together, mines been under a 250w dual spec though, your plant looks good and healthy though considering the amount of light it's getting but as a 1st time grower i couldn't tell you how long the buds take to tighten up under cfl's as i have no experience. When i took my samples i took some smaller side buds but the main cola had formed nicely by then, it's not particularly fat but it's nice and hard and about 6" in length (fnar fnar!) I'd say i have about 8 side branches with decent sized buds on the ends of them as well. Day 59 for me now and it's dropped most of it's leaves so think it's nearly done, took another sample last night and was a much heavier stone, sent me to sleep on the couch. I've been really suprised at how quick it's been to get to this stage as i have grown mostly organically in soil, it did have a small dose of Advanced nutrients big bud powder but apart from that i've been using organic nutes and molasses. I am probably making the 1st time grower mistake of taking it too early but i'm happy with the strength of it and don't think its going to get much bigger so i'll probably stick it in the dark this weekend and chop. Keep us posted mate on the development of your buds i'm interested in seeing how it turns out for you:thumbs:

Soy an Scott I wasn't planning on chopping anytime soon it's got WAYS to go prolly near 70 days or more I will post more pics soon. And Skad I can't wait for it to be one big nug but as much as I look at it I probably won't notice it. The buds are noticibly growing higher up the main cola stem everyday. Loving it, and si I'm about to check out your thread and will post soon(with pics).

Question for anybody. There is are two small little buds at the bottom of the plant that look like there never gonna be anything and aren't getting any light. I've heard of cola cropping or whatever it's called where you cut small lower buds off to keep them from taking nutrients away from the big buds is it a good Idea at this stage to just cut them off now?

Never cut branchs or fan leaves off a auto it will destroy yeild.

I usualy take of all small buds and any fan leaves bellow them buds it sends all the weight to the top of the branches i did it on my girl check out the harvest pics and you get an idea what i do
