I'd really like to do only a DYI grow project duel. I am interested in what your cabinet looks like before doing anything. Is it a Grow Closet? Let me have more info on the grow cabinet you're using. You know..construction, reflective material, lamps/iights, grow space square footage. That kinda stuff. @dcat0921 has done a DYI of a TV Stealth Cabinet. He's been posting on my BayLee420 Goes Stealth thread. Take a look...great job.

No not Grow Closet, I use a Grow Box Fullback - a bit more refined IMO. Two chambers - the lower one I use for germination and storage. The upper (grow) chamber

480 Watt, Switchable, 11-Way, 5w Diode Duo-Drive LED Light
42 Watt LED side Lighting (Almost worthless as it is fixed mounted)
CO2 Boost System (Have not used this yet)
Added (2) 30W cobb led 3000K for side lighting
It has a DWC/drip hydro setup but I have not used it - soil only so far.

The idea that myself and @dcat0921 had was a DYI of a "cabinet" that was never intended to be used as a grow space. Old TV armoires, bedroom wardrobe or dresser, office file cabinets, gym lockers, refrigerators/freezers. It should be free standing and look like from the outside as if there was nothing amiss.

I use a Grow Box Fullback

When I first started in the "indoor" gardening. I looked into the same set up you have. Since it was in my Den and a large "Cabinet" would be too obvious (and I needed it small to get it by the wife). I choose the Super Box set up that looks like a office file cabinet or locker. It fit the bill for almost three years. I have a friend that has a small aquarium that is in an old TV cabinet. BINGO....That's how I got the idea for my DYI project. The Stealth Armoire cost me the same as a tent or a Grow Box Fullback or Grow Closet. @dcat0921 was lucky to have a larger tent before he started his DYI project. He just transferred the equipment from the tent to his new Cabinet. It only cost him around $25.00 to finish the project.

@Chester had or did a grow cabinet out of a U-Haul wardrobe.

Just looked on line and saw the Grow Box Fullback. That's a nice set up. It's a tough call....really....stealth it is...DYI it is not. To be honest if i had gotten the Grow Box set up before I got the smaller Super Box. There would never be a DYI Stealth Project.

Yeah I looked at their stuff. Almost bought their version of the size I've got (LED 3.0 I think). Didn't like all the electrical connections in the back. Was just talking to a new AFN member @Jurgo. He has the GrowBox Misty which is about the same size as your superbox.

Yeah that's funny but I'm sure your DIY was much more economical. Unless you blew all of the savings on opportunities to go drool over the girl at the hydro shop. lmao

Did ya solve your light leak issues? If not, try some weather stripping.
