I'm glad you found AFN. Now , when you have the urge to talk weed, someone will join in around the clock. You never have to mention it in the real world again outside of your inner circle at home. With a child, its a different set of rules where ever you live so remember the first rule of fight club so you always stay happy. Happy growing.

I feel you. My state doesn't even have medical and cbd is still mostly illegal. You literally have to have epilepsy and tried at least 3 pharmaceuticals to get it here. I only smoke around people who are 100% cool with it or by myself for the same reason you describe . Hopefully in the future it will be legal everywhere so at least you won't have to worry about legal consequences. You should try a high cbd strain I find it helps me with caring about what other people think by erasing any anxiety I have.
Man, I have some of the same issues you describe. It's hard because, yes, people do see me as unapproachable. Sometimes I'm described as off the wall insane. I say what I mean and mean what I say and that's not a quality people approve of. That's not to say I'm an asshole, even if I can choose to be, or to say that I am overly shy about meeting people and generally speaking once I've met like minded people I'm the best of company! Just finding those proper people isn't as easy as everyone might think. What's the point in having friends if you can't be yourself and the same goes for the people choosing to be your friends. You wouldn't want to chill with some one who makes you uncomfortable? I rambled but ill go back and see if I can get ya a better answer although I think this was kinda where you might have been going!
Okay, advice: Get involved... On and off the interwebs! I did the ren faire for a number of years and some of my best friends, yes, I have a few, were from there. My wife and I have recently moved to a area where we know no body within two hours of us and most of the locals are dealing with a pharmaceutical epidemic which makes being friends hard without either watching the struggle or getting involved myself which... Shouldn't be an option! I've been without any herb for about 3 months and I can see myself slipping into old habits, isolation, mostly in thoughts. Not going to work, thank god for unemployment, and it sucks because there isn't anything around to really get into and going from bassnectar show to show isn't an option! Haha, we have a baby, two weeks old so that makes things even harder. For now I'm a panicky mess but maybe next week I'll go and grab a fishing license but the evil day star is to much on the little one and don't want to leave my wife, a first time mom, hanging... Ramble ramble ramble!!! Get involved in something you love and you'll be able to be you!
