Hello there!

What a wonderful and informative forum this is! This will be my first thread here so please welcome me with open arms. Furthermore, this is also the first time that I grow cannabis. Ever. I have tried to take notes on information I could find. I'm from Scandinavia and I have been told that it may be difficult to get the plants to reach harvest due to the cold and wet climate. Nevertheless, I thought that I would give it a try. So I bought a handful of seeds that should have a good chance to finish in this climate. The strain is named 'Blue Widow' and is an auto-flower strain. The seeds germinated at April 6 and that makes them now to be 37 days of age (Plants are 31 days of age at the pictere below). In this country it is illegal to grow cannabis, so I had to find a hidden place for my plants to grow. I found a place well hidden from others. What do you think?

Hello there,

So I got 72 views but not a single comment. Meh. Would have been lovely to get some response. Nevertheless here is a little update:

It's has been raining almost all day, every day since last time i posted. Feels like forever. But this very day, the stars where align and the sun where shinning bright! So i decided that I would go visit my baby's. It seems to me that the plants were very pleased with the rainy days we've had. They have grown a lot since last time i saw them. I tied them down though for better light penetration.

One of them is a male though! (he is not ine the pictures) But it does not matter to me, since I was already considering doing this a seed grow, since I will be doing another much larger grow with a buddy of mine. But I do have one questen for you guys: How much will the seed production reduce the overall yeild of a plant? Lets say that the female plant would normally produce 30 grams of dry buds. How much would this be reduced by letting the male plant pollinate the females?

...On the way out of one of the secret gardens I hear a sound. I crunch down and sit quietly trying to hide. Suddenly I am surrounded! Could this be the five-o, I was thinking. Fortunately for me it was'nt.

LOL!

Beef Fuzz......

Wish I could help you with some of your questions but anything I say will be just like what comes out the south end of one of those north bound "security guards"

Cheers!

:welcome: Ben Dover & Jack Mehoff !!!! :roflcry:

Holy shit what did I just write. Scrub that mate, just welcome.
Hope your GG will be successful. Looks to me like it's my plot, I have one of my GG spots buried deep within a reed/bamboo kind of growth that is near on impenetrable.
You are from Scandinavia, have you tried HFH (Hybrids From Hell ) seeds ? made in Denmark and perfect for your climate. I have many HFH plants on the go at the moment.
As for your question about seed, it shouldn't make a huge difference to yield, considering that you will have calyxes anyway only full of seed. The seed runs I have done in the past have been on par with seedless plants.

I have no experience in the seed question man but that spot looks killer except for those gang banger cows, stay safe out there, cows are alot faster than you think and can nibble your nipples off in a hurry

Cheers Trapper,
thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:
No worries man. At least your comment made me laugh. I believe many of us are here to learn from those who are here to show off. <he-he>

Greetings OldSkunkBud,
and thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:

I am glad someone caught the reference. <ha-ha> Maybe it's a stupid nickname, but I'm always in great troubles whenever I have to create those online names. At least this one made me laugh. If your spot looks anything like mine. Then you must have a great spot to grow buds! :dance2:Where do you live? I've heard great things about HFH, but it seems they do not have any autoflowers. I wish you too the best luck with your GG.

Hello Gilly,
and thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:

Thank you. I too am liking it alot. You are absolutly right about those crazy killer cows! First thing I did was to find the nearest tree that i could climb if they were to do a gang-bang.

You will probably lose at least half the yield.

Hi nambet,
and thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:

I guess that would not hurt to bad. Considering that I would not have to buy seeds next year. But then again I guess the buds wont be as potent as if the plant was not producing seeds.

Are those Canavoirs?

Hello JackMC,

and thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:

Are you referring to the strain? The strain is 'Blue Widow'

Back with a little update.

Some of the plants have taken harm by snail attacks, which is probably the reason for the difference in their size. But otherwise, I think that they seem to be doing OK. However, I am unsure about when to pack up and harvest the plants. Are there anyone that could give me some advice?

Best regards,
Ben Dover & Jack Mehoff
