Starting a small farming and never grown with led lights or auto seeds before
Hey thought starting a small farming and never grown with led lights or auto seeds before.

So I thought some questions to you experts out there
Hope you can help me a little on the way.
I have read pages in and out on the forum and they all say different.
maybe I can get more understanding of things here takes a few questions at a time.

1 auto seeds which is the best on the market and which gives the best yield?

2 grow in a tent 300cm X 300cm X 200cm i have led lights on 1200w*4 tot 4800w

3 How many plants can I get into the tent and the size of the pots should I have on auto seeds?

4 how do you run the light 24-0 20-4 18-6 12-12?

5 should run fast auto seeds or a little longer? what is the difference? 8 weeks old and under or 8 weeks and over?

will write and show pictures in the forum during the time when I grow until it is time to harvest.

So want to get out as much as possible in the best way with led lights and auto seeds.
Ideally, as quickly as possible too :):):)

best regards
Emil

Welcome to the forum. Stop by the Introduction forum and start up a post so everyone can get to know you. Now on to your questions.

1 auto seeds which is the best on the market and which gives the best yield?

2 grow in a tent 300cm (300 cm = 3.28 yd) X 300cm (300 cm = 3.28 yd) X 200cm (200 cm = 6'7) i have led lights on 1200w*4 tot 4800w

3 How many plants can I get into the tent and the size of the pots should I have on auto seeds?

4 how do you run the light 24-0 20-4 18-6 12-12?

5 should run fast auto seeds or a little longer? what is the difference? 8 weeks old and under or 8 weeks and over?

1. There are so many good strains available today that it really comes down to what suits your taste. Indica dominant, sativa dominant, medicinal. I would suggest you stay with a reputable breeder and seed bank. You can be confident in anything from Sweet Seeds, Dutch Passion, or Dragon Masters. You might want to check out our Reviews section. Lots of good strain information in there, along with pictures.

2. That should be sufficient light for a tent that size.

3. How many plants will depend to a degree on what strain you choose. Most of the Dutch Passion line get a bit bigger than some others. Generally you'll need about 15 - 18 square inches for each plant. At 18 square inches per plant you could put in 7 rows of 7 plants for a total of 49 plants. But that wouldn't leave you any room to walk around and tend the plants. Might be better to do 6 rows of 7 plants, leaving room down the middle to walk and work. 3 gallon, or 11 liters is generally a good size pot for most auto strains.

4. 20/4 is generally the best light cycle to use. That provides the most yield.

5. To get the most from your plants they will likely need a minimum of 10 weeks, maybe as much as 12 weeks. The times advertised by the seed banks are misleading. While you can get them to finish in 8 weeks, you will sacrifice significant yield. Check out this thread for more information on that: https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html.

An additional point to consider is maintaining the proper pH of your soil. A good liquid pH tester is pretty much a necessity. If you don't have one already I would suggest you invest in one. Should you have any problems and seek our assistance, one of the first questions usually asked is the pH of your soil and the pH of your run off water.

Best of luck with your grow. It sounds like a very ambitious project.

Best yield depends on the best growing conditions, so there are a lot of factors, some that may be beyond your control. There are a number of high quality auto breeders out there, nost have some strains with great yield pontential. Dutch Passion has top notch genetics and their Think Different might fit your needs. Let's see what others say also, but I'd say 4 plants per light would be workable in a tent that large.

You still need to figure what medium you'll grow them in, what nutes you'll use, ventilation and temperature control. Humidity control may also be an issue.
18/6 is likely the best compromise to giving you good yield and controlling energy usage.

hello :)

thanks for all the answers.

I've been thinking and reading a lot, but also heard from others that 12-12 light can give good harvest? something you heard?

what would you say is the biggest difference on auto seeds and ordinary fenimiserade seeds?

I actually got the criticism of a judgment on the larger seed banks that I waste my time on auto seeds for it would huh waste of time and money I would get very less amount of auto than ordinary seeds, and both would almost take as long anyway .

that I grow in order to get larger amounts and indoors in a tent and not outside the house, and for small amounts.

indica seeds is what I was going to bet on.
Feels like them a little faster time and I have previous positive harvest with indica.

best indica auto seeds that could give good returns when it involves time and energy.

I've used some different soil and nutrients when I grown under hps before but feels like everything in the market is very similar.

used the golden label and even used soil from flower shops but still type with the same great results every time.

but of course, I'm a newbie when compared to you and will gladly take imot all criticism with joy and advice when it comes to everything within my project.

do you have anything to say or would like me to consider so please tell me :)

I want to be able to show off my harvest here on the forum and to make a good harvest so I like to take your help and in the future I want to test in other ways and not only cultivate the earth :)

take advice on everything from top soil to nourish the best seeds for everything :)

yes there is much to think about especially when I had not previously grown with either point or auto seeds earlier :)

only grown with soil and HPS old school hehe
but it's time to start growing with the new and see if it actually is so much better or not :)

love the larger plantations and would just grow bigger and bigger, and understand how to grow in other forms than just the earth.

so any help, I am thankful for and I responded to another and the same questions do I mention you are a little higher up in the thread :)

but as you say the PH value of the soil when it comes to auto seeds and the best nutrition and soil would just good to know :)

I ask a lot because I know I have so much to learn from you and I have read lot of forums and can honestly say it is easier to ask you directly instead of reading all say different.

and you have already made the mistakes and you know what's best and I'd love to have your help in order to get the best of my bulbs and seeds :)

will also post how it goes for me here on the forum and thanks to you and all who make this a fun test of led lights and auto seeds are the new way to get fast and great harvest under the right circumstances.

Tang, robwars two that come to mind when when you say large number of LEDs. Some people here use 4-8 LEDs at a time. Can't think of everyone at the moment. Check out the led section there are plenty of journals in there
