I know that you want to give autos as much light as possible but I've seen a couple strain that say they do better on 12/12 I was wondering since I know a lot of people grow photos also is there any strains you could suggest that would do ok on a 12/12 light schedule?:Sharing One:

Any photo strain under 12/12 will act like an auto also.

I want to do a photo run but not sure yet I want to do one more auto run but can't decide if I want to do a photo with my next autos or not I was just wondering cus if I do once my first autos where done id run more on 12/12 to finish up with my photos. Ill look for the one two autos I saw said did well under 12 hours of light I just thought id ask to see if anyone had any exerience with this

Ids I've done a bunch of autos under 12/12. All the dragons have done well as the HR autos the sweet gear and the Santa and KvS I've done under 12/12 did well as well... I think it's strain dependent... At most you just loose a bit
Of yield... But you'll hopefully make up for that loss with the photos... Sending a :karma Cloud: for whatever you decide! Keep us updated. :)

nice yoda thanks, i got some Og Kush photos also i got some of the OSSC New Black Bubblegum (bubblegum x black domina) and aslo some female seeds Lemon Kush (master kush x lemon joy) 4 seeds for $10 on alibongo and i have my eyes set on some GSC and Medicann Seeds Black Afgahn kush (Og x Afgahn '76 x Black Domina) But I just got some Sweet seeds auto Trainwreck so im really excited to get those in some soil along with my Auto Cherry Bomb and Auto Sour Kush! so many strains it cant be said enough!:Sharing One:I might have to do one more full auto run get alittle more exprience, then work on photos for a summer project! But its never too early to plan ahead!

Probably seeds with a low Ruderalas genetics. My one plant said it was 25%R so for the last few weeks it got 12/12. Seems to made the buds real frosty.

WOS Nlxbb didn't flower until put under 12/12.

If an autoflower strain requires a 12/12 light schedule to flower, then you would be better off going with photoperiod. The biggest advantage autos provide is the ability to flower utilizing any light schedule. The trade off is a loss of potency because of ruderalis. I understand auto genetics are becoming increasingly more potent, but even a 2% loss of potency isn't worth it if you are controlling the light schedule anyway.
