Pro-mix hp with led or pro-mix BX for mh/hps.
GBD grows with roots organic, take a look at his plants to see if its working or not....
Briman can you elaborate on why pro mix bx for mh and hps.... I recently ordered a new setup and tent ill be running 600w mh/hps
Ill be using promix bit was looking at hp what is the advantage of BX

Get that roots organic and mix it with bio-bizz light mix 50/50. Itll have enough in the soil for the first 3-4 weeks. I use that and do not have to worry about pH, I strictly use roots organic nutes "bought the player pack", I only have to mix my nutes 24 hours in advance for the pH to self regulate. I'm sure there are better ways but I find this to be super easy for me. Just my 2¢

I am running promix HP with gbd's amendments in this thread also.
HP stands for highly porous, whick it does what it says, is very porous, which with MH/HPS will dry out too fast from the heat that those lights throw off, even with air cooling HP will dry out too fast and you may find yourself having to water a couple times a day. BX holds moisture and is designed for higher heat. run it with a ph of 6.3 on your feed and watering and you should be good.:thumbs:

Wait you have to change spil every 4 weeks?
No....what he means is that the soil will have enough nutes "built in to it" to get the plant through the first 3 or 4 weeks before you have to are other fertilizers to it.
