Salutations Chester,
Hi again GS,
...they are not portable at all...
M'yeap! That often verifies in real-life. On the photograph it sure looks "portable" but then one finds out a traveler's pouch comes as an option, then there are more options to pour in, etc. My pipe requires 1 butane gas bottle, 1 cannabis container, another for post-vaporisation by-product storage ideally, 1 tablet of strong gum, preferably 2 as i chew them by 3 to tame down congestion and sneezing (...), 1 picking tool (mine is from the Snoop-DogG box, etc.), 1 Modded VG Pipe with custom tubing extension(s), 1 right-angle butane blue "jet" lighter, preferably 2 in order to avoid over-heat (always buy them as pairs!), euh... Ah, and cotton pads plus a few replacement screens, and finally some nice-looking pouch, euh...
Sure it's portable. But i didn't even mention my ritual includes a rocking-chair and a table in my veranda, etc!...
So, in the end it seems to me "portability" doesn't need to be the #1 priority, depending on circumstances of course. As a matter of fact i'd go as far as to reason that shoping around with the #1 selection criteria aiming for "portable" vapes, balloon ones on top of that (!), could risk to make you overlook some decent options not totally incompatible with your preferences and skills.
Go figure!
Honestly if the Solo had a bag option I would be sold as I love my extremeQ.
Good. Talking about skills, i can gather from this statement above that you've got the lungs for full convection mode and no issues with electric-dry hot air release/transport of the noble molecules... Enjoy such nice fate!!
In any case if you must have an Arizer then why not dream seriously of the "Air" series instead?...
I'm ready to bet you'd find Arizer's glassware is just as good on the Air model.
Considering the price I think I have to pass...
Oh, big mistake here! It's not about money, the plan should be to find something to match your own personal needs before the rest, in physical terms i might add. When it works it works great and then the initial cost is recovered. But if one has picked the wrong machine then it can turn wasteful, on the contrary, etc... So i can only urge you to take whatever time you require to think this over clearly...
...I was hoping it would be a good unit for smell-free smoke around town and in the car.
Then in that particular case i find apropriate to refer to the dedicated thread linked below:
Personally i think you should go for the full treat selling (soon) at the announced price-tag of 250 $ US. I don't even find that price range specially outrageous as that sounds pretty much like the norm these days. Just attempt to imagine you've tipped a doorman if that helps!
Unfortunately i came to consider there's no garantee of universal compatibility with Hot Dry-Air, not even with post-vaporisation in-line water-bubbling (as pictured above), i'm afraid! Yet i remain confident that's one suitable candidate to suggest here - if you don't intend to vape 'n drive, that is!
Yet, no doubt it's way much safer than smoking and i'll bet also one of the tastiest vapes if we can trust the rumours!...
Actually this manufacturer used to have a favourable reputation relatively to taste, though it was acquired by some e-Cig company long after v2, as i recall. So it depends, if the previous design criterias have been applied to the new v3 as well then maybe you should consider using a few more weeks to reflect indeed!
Hummm... Can you handle glass in your car?...
Egzo... ...your initial suggestion is a unit that sounds like it would fit my needs...
That's possible, good luck with that quest!
Relatively to bags often enough there's the alternative of a negative-pressure (vacuum) balloon system. Those are even better as it eliminates the pump and its associated tubing from one's lungs path. As i recall it replenished my confidence greatly in a moment of eminent crisis!...
Honestly, i wanted to perform such operation right after my 1st try with the HerbalAire v2.1: the taste/smell, whatever... It was evident the brand-new synthetic material "tainted" my experience with hints of PVC tubing, etc., which was initially received as a shock considering the expen$e...
Oh, i do remember going into great lengths in order to solve that challenging puzzle - and i did manage:
Anything you could attach to this (or similar) would effectively support bags as well, except i found 2 litres soft-drink bottles don't offer a sufficient diameter in terms of capacity.
Good day, have fun!!
