No problem. If I Leave the tap water to sit over night pH rises to 8.3, Ive not left the Di filter water over night untreated but would suspect that it would rise to that level as well.

Oh and remember you will need to continue using the calmag, maybe even increase just a notch.

DI Resin Filter arrived today. I filled it up with the resin and straight away my water was clean and zero rated.
How easy was that
No dip in pressure, a couple of hose locks and I was filling my res with sparkly clean water.

Ok my tap water is pH 7.4 and EC 0.6.

Di Filter water is pH 7.3 and EC 0.0.

Di water is very sensitive to ph change so only a pipette drop of ph down is needed for a big drop. Once you have added your nutes (unless they are ph perfect) you may find that you need pH up. I offset this by using silicon and when measured out correctly gives me pH 5.8.

Now just because the EC is 0.0 I dont know if the Di filter will take out all chemicals, but Im sure there is someone much brighter than myself who can advise on this.
