Grow Mediums Best way I found to grow Autoflowers, must read

Ok folks, I've been growing auto flowers for a long time. I've done the DWC,NFT , dirt ,flood and drain, this and that till I hit on a Good DWC set up. Keep in mind any plant grown with hydroponics will grow much bigger and faster. a few things I'm found negative about growing with DWC system is 1) temp 2) ph 3) circulation . those 3 things are a constant maintenance and a big pain in the ass given my past earlier experiments, So to circumvent those issues ,I came up with a chiller installed in a 20 gal colemans cooler , then replaced the air pump and water pump with a powerhead used in fish aquariums , The powerhead blows out air bubbles as well as circulates the water, the chiller keeps the water temp around 60 to 65 degrees and circulates very well,So that solves the temp and circulation dilemma . as for the PH balance, perhaps the biggest pain the the arse is solved by using a 3 part nutes micro,grow,bloom by adanced nutrients these nutes have PH perfect technology. meaning it keeps yer reservore at a perfect Ph to grow weed, this tuff works super great I kid you not, I also dump in a pint of colloidal silver that prohibits slim build up , it doesn't effect the advanced nutrients at all. The water I use is purified water it comes in green 4 gallon jugs at P&C supermarket, spring water will work in a pinch,,DO NOT USE TAP WATER. I pre nute a 4 gal jug with my advanced nutrients, I use that to top off the res when it starts to get low. I have two grow tents a 4x4x7ft and a 30inch x30in x5 feet , right now I'm using a 5 footer cuz it great to grow just one AF plant, I'm using a 600 watt galaxyhydro led light and a small fan for air circulation and that's it. The grow I have going on now is jack auto from freedom of seeds, the specs they give say up to 18 to 20 inch and 8 to 9 weeks fro seed to harvest, well right now its day 60 and the plant is 33 inches and had bushed out very well I use a 16/8 light cycle as soon as I saw a white hair, I have trimmed it twice to clear out the over growth, BEWARE do not over trim autos it will slow down its growth and you'll end up with a crappy plant, only trim the large obtrusive leaves but not all of them. One week before harvest I flush with advanced nutrients FINAL PHASE clearing and flushing solution to get rid of residual nutes in the plant, the plant will use its fan leaves as a nutrient sorce while it flushes out, giving a nice smooth smoke this is my third year using this setup and it has worked out very will with little maintenance (adding water), about 4 years ago I grew a jack auto from FS in dirt and I grew 17 inches, puny thing it was, BUT it had a great buzz, so this time around its in a hydro setup and this plant in huge , by the looks of it I'd say it has about another month till harvest, FIY every auto flower I grew with this set up the plant always exceeded the given specs by almost double. Ill post a pic as before harvest and after I'll give a smoke report.Ive also found a novel fool proof way to cure weed and to keep it in that fresh long cure state indefinitely using Boveda 62 packets after the weed has dried for about a week or so. the chiller is a IceProbe Thermoelectric Aquarium Chiller made by nova tec after looking at it I realized I could easily build one much cheaper, next project .I want to make a note here and say, the reason I used a coleman cooler(any insulated cooler will work) is because its insulated and works great with the chiller keeping water temps around 60,65 degrees with lights blasting away. I tried it in a 5gal bucket it it did keep the water cooler around 75 to 85 degress fluxuate wasnt not cool enough, so if you go this route use a cooler, right now the root ball is nice a bright white filling half the cooler up.and I bought the powerhead off amazon from tebo, the powerhead works great and it reaplaces three items , the water pump and air pump and stone. The powerhead bows out a lot of tiny bubbles that oxygenates the water superbly..so if you want to grow some bitchen Afs used my method you'll be glad you did

One thing if found they seem to like , i don't hear mentioned much is the air circulation inside the res,i have cooling fans pointing down at the water and escape holes ..the ladies seem to enjoy it.

UPDATE ,I harvested the Jack auto after a 7 day flush, 4 days of 12/12 and 3 total dark days, Kept a good eye on this girl,but when I posted it was actually on day 63 so its been a grand total of 80 days from seed to harvest . The seed specs on jack auto from freedom of seeds said 65 days from seed to harvest and about 20 inches high , day 63 it was 33 inches high and on harvest day it was almost 36 inches high..Ill post the pics..next is smoke report after I dry and then cure for 2 weeks.Like I said I kept a good eye on her using my 100x scope, just as soon as I saw my first cloudy tric I went into flushing for 7 days, 4 with 12/12 lights and 3 of total darkness, before I went to chopping I checked the trics one last time and saw about 60/40 cloudy VS amber trics, harvesting this stuff was epic so much resin the buds all just stuck together looking like one big blob of bud as I stacked the trimmed buds,I had a hell of a time separating the mess to put on the dry rack in my tent..I also had a zillion finger tip sized nugs, that I tossed into the scrap bag along with leaves and lesser buds and small flower tops, going to make some oil with it..enjoy the pics..Ill come back with a smoke report when the weed is ready to smoke about 3 weeks

DWC is a major pain, i did it for a few years, 12 5 gallon buckets and a 30 gallon resevoir. Quit for a few years, back with good old fashioned dirt. I do miss the size difference DWC makes...
