I got some ALG A MIC today and after looking at the updated nutrient schedule it says not to use it with the allmix soil. I can take it back and swap it for biobizz top max. Anybody know if it is worth the money ie nearly £20! I am day 42 and about to start with the biobloom.

Why can't you use alg a mic with all mix bud? Iv used both and far as I'm aware the only difference between all mix & light mix is the level of organic nutrients added is more with all mix. iv seen the new schedule but I'm trying to understand why its no good in all mix. you could also folier feed with alg a mic if you wanted. Here's what it says about the product

- Immune system: improves the plant’s ability to withstand certain levels of environmental stresses and reduce the attacks and flare-ups of sap-sucking insect pests on the plants.
- Chlorophyll: provides greater maintenance of chlorophyll, leading to greener plants.
- Microbes: serves as a source of food for beneficial and benign soil bacteria, resulting in a large increase in microbe numbers.
- Nematodes: helps reduce nematode damage. This includes a reduction in hatching and a disorientation or simple ‘burn-out’ of immature nematodes (J2s), minimizing root penetration.
- Frost initiates or speeds up the acclimatization process even when the plant is not subjected to cold stress. This allows plants to tolerate greater levels of cold, reducing the amount of damage.

Thank you both. I started the bloom today and as the schedule says i am using the bloom and grow together. I started at 1mil of grow and built up to 2 mil and now i am on day 42. and started the bloom today, 1mil of each and i will build up. I was going to keep the ALG A MIC and use it for a spray but it says use it preflower. SO any suggestions of what i can swap it for at my gro shop? The bloke is cool so will have no problem with a swap. As this is my first grow i am not sure if i will need it next time, i am off to India for the winter so don't want to use stale stuff next year. There are lots of things i could use as long as they are organic.
The range of stuff in my local shop is varied, any suggestions to increase my crop/potency etc?

Don't swap it for top max.
From what experienced biobizz users say - topmax makes your bud taste "metalic."

I don't know about that, I've been using top-max for years and got none of the metalic taste. I came across this "rumor" a few times, seems to me it's just that

Thanks for the chime in Eschatos - experience always wins!

I was put off from what i read too, so kind of took it as law - i never tried it because of that :)
