The two tiny leafs you start off with will yellow and die off, this is normal :)

As far as how long you veg it for, you don't have much say in it as it will flower on its own (auto flowers eh!? Hehe)
But as far as using nutes goes, keep the grow (veg) nutes going until the vertical growth stops - around week six(ish)

If you've got the vertical space, I'd just let grow for this one, keep it simple.

Just my thoughts ^_^

Ok cool. What I ment was the actually white hair things going golden not the leaves. The leaves look awesome so far. Thanks again.

Ok guys. Day 22 and my lady is growing well...

Just one question... Are the leaves suppose to feel a bit spikey on top ? Mine does

Hello ..do you mean hairy? She looks nice and green and happy to me! If you dont have room or want her to finish early then add bloom. But if you want her to be all she can be then keep up veg nutes till vert growth stops or slows down allot.Leaving a karma clou

Sort of, it.was just as I was rubbing my hand over the tops the leaves felt like a light velcro.. like lots of small hairs I guess...that a good thing ?

I just have the PH down, just be careful with it - it's potent stuff. I use about 4.5ml in a 5litre bottle of water to get mine down from 7.8 to 5.9 (dont forget i'm in coco - yours needs to be 6.4 ..unless you have a soil ph issue) (or if i'm lazy and just doing my 2 litre watering can it's about 14 drops for me)

I occasionally mess up and put too much in and then have to amend by pouring in more (7.8ph) water - but that's not ideal as if i have carefully measured out nutes in my 5 litre bottle and i go too far down, i essentially have to dilute the mix with plain water.

I've considered getting PH up - but usually just go back to thinking "i'll be more careful"

So after my ramble lol - it's your call! but definitely need PH down ^_^

BTW.. the soil looks nice! it has a nice clean airy feel to it when you mix it doesn't it!

^^^i do the same thing i hate when that happens lol the water ph is so high where i live, when ever i add a lil to much ph down baking soda works for me at bringing it back up

Got a problem... I'm off tomorrow for ten to 11 days.. I won't be able to water my lady for this time... DO you think if I water her well before I go she would be ok if I leave her with the timer on 18/6 ?

Thanks

Hey seasickdee, first, thanks for all the likes on my thread bro! I just found this today, will be subbed up.

Second, to your question. 10 days is a long time. I have used a milk jug before when I was going to be gone some time but not that long. You may be able to find a larger container to use though so I am still going to tell you. I took a milk jug and punched several holes in the bottom and left the top off, set it in the soil and let it weep into your soil while you are gone. You really need to test it several times before you leave, you only want a very small drip every few minutes. Over the course of several days the jug will empty. This isn't the greatest, but it will work for a few days. You may be able to rig up a bucket feeding the jug with a larger capacity. I would really worry about 10 days.

Can you not chuck it outdoors?

Myself, I would worry more about leaving the light on and being gone for 11 days and coming back to a burnt down house. And as bad as that would most certainly be, it would be a thousand times worse to find out the cause had something to do with my light or timer.

I would find a stealthy place outdoors and let the rain water it. I would place the containers in a lake of slug/snail pellets. And then ask any God at all to please look after it.

I really would. I couldn't stand worrying about the plant or the light. It would ruin my 11 days away.

I'm assuming the 11 days away is work-related and not...
