I finished wiring my latest build, then testing it, i noticed one cob wouldn't light. I unscrewed the holder and lifted it off the heatsink, and the little metal contact fell out. I put it back in, it seems to fit together and appear aligned as the other one, but the wire won't go in, so it's obviously not...this is really infuriating!!! signal-2017-08-07-115939.jpg 20170807_124513.jpg
@BigSm0 hoping someone knows how I might fix this, i really don't want to pay for and wait around on another. I'm gonna keep at it...

I see what happened, i can't get my camera to focus on it, but there's a little tab that holds the wire in in the part of the connector attached to the plastic, it must have came up when I pulled the wire out previously. I'm gonna try to push it down a little...

Man, i wish I had some micro surgery tools...

That did it, it seems pretty sturdy now.
Well, if this happens to anyone else, be careful pulling the wire out, it displaces the tab that holds it in. Is there a release for the BJB? I couldn't see one in the manual I read

There really needs to be a 3rd option for holders, or bjb should make a Couple design changes. I like the ideals because of the snap in arm, but the separate reflector adaptor and the light loss20170807_132611.jpg between the adaptor is dumb. The bjbs are really difficult for me to keep the cobs aligned with the contacts on the holder, i end up having to unscrew it and make little adjustments a million times. This time I put a little tape on the corners, hopefully it doesn't melt or burn. I'm going to put it on my stove and run it for an hour to see.
Someone with more ambition than myself and a 3d printer should really make a better holder...

I can have you a new one in 48 hours if you need. Cdi would take a little over a week. There is also no way to get the wire out without pulling it. It should be fine to reuse.

Hey Big, do u currently have the Angelina 90° in stock for the CLU048 frame, and what's shipping run on a quad pack?

I have 5 left total for the bjb holder. I put them out of stock as I'm to low but can cover this. Shipping is $3 for 4. 4@5.50-10%+3=$23
