New Grower BlackStar 240 + Auto Bubbelicious

I was thinking about trying auto bubble by Nirvana but so many people said their germination ratio was shitty! So I went wit sweet seeds. Might get a pick and mix and try it out!

Just wanted to add this, the first girl was harvested at 80 days.

The other three have at least 2 to 4 weeks left.
Quite a difference!

Mr. Lazy, I am currently on day 60 with my 3 Nirvana Bubblicious ladies and I was wondering how the others turned out? Maybe I missed it, if I did I apologize! I am so curious as well about adding the MH bulbs to your mix, did you notice a tightening up of the buds after the lights were added? I went from a MH to SHPS when I saw the first pistils show up so I was wondering if replacing one would make a difference at all?!! It would be very easy to change one out so they have full spectrum, but if it isn't much different, then why mess with what's working right? Thanks for any info you can share!

Mr. Guerrilla I am currently in day 60 with 3 of Nirvana's Bubblicious strain and I had absolutely zero problem with germination. I bought a 5 pack and the 3 I put in the dirt popped overnight and have well surpassed what I expected them to do. After reading the website and whatever I could find online specifically about them, mine are doing tremendously well! Hope this helps!

Please don't call me MR!!!
Makes me feel old!! LOL!!
Just kidding around!

The other three that i have are doing fine, just a bit behind for some reason.
They are almost a foot taller than the one i recently harvested, so that could be the issue!
While the first one started flowering the other three just kept getting taller.
The last three seem to have a better structure as well and a LOT more bud on them.

I think the CMH has helped a lot and the buds are super dense and frosty.
What i am doing is i have 2 400W CMH on a light mover above the ladies and then i use the LED's for side and lower lighting.
Rotate the plants at least three times a day so all get the LED power.

The last time i grew i used a MH for veg and then switched over the HPS for bloom.
Results were fair but the buds were not as dense as they are now.

From a personal point of view, i much prefer going into my grow room and having an almost blinding white light instead of the yellow of HPS.
Also remember that i am NOT using MH bulbs they are CERAMIC METAL HALIDE.
Different spectrum to MH as it is almost a full spectrum type bulb.

If your results are what you want don't change a thing.
Maybe try one out for your next grow and see if it works better.

I am also growing out some regular photo plants and the CMH has boosted them to new levels!
Start of flowers in less than a week after switching over to 12/12, in my books that is pretty good!

If you want to check out the bulbs i am using have a look here:

http://www.growlightexpress.com/pages/ceramic-metal-halide-pv-c0-2.html

Especially have a look at the color spectrum and compare to what a HPS bulb emits!
Very interesting stuff!!

On another forum there are a lot of growers changing over to the CMH bulbs because they are so good!

You can find them from $40 up to $100 per bulb, just depends on where you shop!

Hope this helps you out a bit!
Anything else do not hesitate to ask!!

I'm sorry Lazy old habits die hard! I was sitting in front of my garden thinking about what I had asked when it hit me like a fresh hit that the others weren't done yet! I feel like the noob I am!! Thanks for the info I just quickly scanned it plan to go back in a bit and digest it all! Thanks again!

No worries at all!!
This is my first grow in more than 6 years.
The technology has changed so much since then.

But it appears i can still grow weed!!
That is a good thing in my books!
:smokebuds:

Before i forget, i wanted to add my drying and curing routine!

After a rough trim, i leave all of the sugar leaves on and a lot of stem, they are hung in a cardboard box on a network of strings.
Leave in the box for 3 to 4 days.
They are then removed from the box, the stems cut off and placed in brown paper bags for 1 to 2 days.
After that they are moved into mason jars for final curing.
For the first week they will be "burped" twice a day. At this time i also check how dry they are, too dry and i will add a bit of stem to moisten them up again.

In the second week i will open them and check how they smell, feel and look.
If they are good i will seal them shut again and vacuum the air out and store most in the freezer.

I have this for vacuuming the air out:

Cheap and effective!

Lazy thanks again for the info you have answered the last big question I had in your post on your technique for dry and cure! To me, it's important to talk to someone who has experience with the same strain I am!!! How else can you gain a little insight to the nature of the strain, it's specifics while differing somewhat, should be relatively close I think? Did that make sense? I wanted to ask you as well if you noticed any differences between your 3? I have 3 of the same strain but one is showing definite sativa growing while one is definitely Indica while one is what I think is a hybrid of the two in that its growing Indica buds on a sativa frame! It's probably not that way at all and I'm really trying to make a lot out of nothing in my limited experience but it's really cool and amazing!

That's a lot of blabber for a thank you I think! Thanks again!

Lazy, do you have any experience with vaporizing? I want to be able to use mine and I know I need a certain amount of moisture to remain for higher quality, do you have any suggestions or guidance in this area? I have tried everything I can through the local channels and while its really good when burning, it's not so great in a vaporizer. I have read so much different stuff about it but I'm still trying to figure it out. Anything you might know would be helpful!! Thanks in advance!
