Lighting Blue AutoMazar - DWC Round 2 by Pal

Hey guys, today is the start of week 5 for my BAM which means res change:
7.5ml Rhizotonic
8ml CalMag
4ml Silicon
up to 0.8 EC (1.2 on my meter) with Canna Vega A+B
Ph 5.7

I had set her res at 0.7 a few days ago to assure I wasn't pushing her too hard and by today she had let me know she can definitely handle it. I predict over this next week or so she will be asking for even more..nice girl with a good appetite that's what we want! In natural light she is quite dark green and around where the bud sites will form is just slightly lighter green, I'm adding this info because sometimes the pictures are not an accurate representation, especially when under the LED's. She is 20" away from the GN at this point.

:peace:

That's a beautiful plant! I love seeing top down shots of plants like this, The symmetry of the growth pattern always leave me in awe of these plants!

Day 33.

Afternoon all, I've been slacking on my growing/journal duties lately so I apologise.. Res change scheduled for Thursday when she will get switched over to Bloom nutes. Still at 0.8 EC so that will go up on Thursday also. I noticed a slight smell coming from the roots when I moved her today but I think I'm just being paranoid as there are no signs that she is unhappy in any way, albeit slightly stained roots
Getting the correct air pressure is something I'm still struggling with, had slightly too much in the BAM bucket for the past few days so lots of little root end broken off in the water, sorry Bam! Anyway enjoy the pics, she's getting her stretch on now

Sniffing her bottom :) (I do it well):xlaugh:

It looks like you
Getting the correct air pressure is something I'm still struggling with
Struggling with this for 2 years already :dunno:, so be patient  . What I did? : added virtual res ( have 2 and added 2)
However ripped roots doesn't mean to much air (how much btw do you have?)
And last (sry for so much comments) She looks like it should been on the bloom nutes already... "My 2 cents"
:Sharing One:"AFN smoke out"

Thanks for stopping by bro, I have 2 pumps, both 30lpm. However I'm only using one pump right now to power both buckets so theoretically 15lpm in each bucket. To my understanding that should be the bare minimum if you have 15l of water. Now whenever I use full power, or don't bend the air cord, I get a nice amount of bubbles but too much water movement which is what I thought was causing the problem. Maybe it's the diffusers :dunno:

I have 90l/m airpump and even than roots where not ripped. It should be something else bro (I had couple of ripped roots last week). Nothing changed in my setup and this week no roots (however ph swings are even less than past week).
Maybe it's the diffuser
What kind of? Do you have there?

I have one flat disc diffuser, on the back it says capable of pushing 20lpm, made by hailea (same brand as air pumps) the other is an Angel Aqua 23cm cylinder diffuser.. Do you know of any other reasons root's would break? my water temp never goes above 22 and on average sits between 17-19 degrees. :peace:

I asked same question in my growlog. I rly have no clue why, but know for sure it is not you diffuser or much air...

What I think is ph swing (not sure what is going on with your ph. I mean how much it swings and so on). What I thought as well was to much ph- in my resses. ------- Disregard this as this is just my thoughts that are rly far from reality...

I always appreciate input brother, whether it's fact or just a flying thought :) I'm going to look into diffusers that don't disturb the water as much because I'm not sure what else it could be! :Sharing One:

Can't wait to see my rootball looking like that! WOOO HOO! :Sharing One:

I'm terrible at maths so not really sure how to work out my watts per square foot but my tent is 1.2m so 12.9166925004 square feet...and I run 2 MS006 most of the time. No idea if I'm filling my space properly with light so feel free to comment/advise.
:peace:

Hi.... your maths is terrible... 1.2m square gives approximately 15.5 square foot.... The recommendations for HPS are 40w + per square foot... generally...

For the GN006 disco lights having spoken to Daniel at GrowNorthern he recommended 3 to 4 units for a 2.4 x 1.2 metre tent.... So you are bang on the money as the riff-raff say....
