New Grower Blue mystic does not like direct sunlight

So ive got 17 ladies left out of 29 bluemystic autos I ordered from nirvana seeds there having a really hard time outdoors everything from slugs too deer too opossoms too mice are slaughtering the ladies... Further more some which are still alive won't be that way for long because they don't seem to like the direct sunlight there getting and there slowly roasting away... Others that are in more shaded areas are doing pretty well and show no sign of roasting.. But jeez I'm appalled at the losses I'll be lucky of I harvest anything at this rate...and it's only week 2

It would help to know if they are in the ground or in pots.
Did you start them inside
are you feeding them
what is your soil mix
out door day and night temp

Sound like lack of water.
Deer/mice are easy to fix. Chicken wire.
Possums can be trapped easy (mean little fuckers)

They are in the ground and I did start them inside and it defiantly not lack of water it's been raining heavily every 3 or 4 days and the soil is 1/2 Scott's topsoil and 1/2 vigoro organic potting soil used too fill 1ft by 1 ft holes in rocky clay soil.. and it's not the deer munching on them but actually stepping on them occasionally and worse the deer are used too people being around so urine hair and cologne doesn't work... And as for the possible opossum "my best guess"... They've totally dig up a few rooting in the shiny new rich smelling soil... I've got them raised 3in up off the ground with chicken wire beds and today I put copper wire around the bases to deter the slugs and also gave them all a shot of neem oil for good measure against other nasties... It's just some of them seem dwarfed...hmm we have had some unseasonably cool weather in the last 2 weeks it got down to the mid forties.. With rain.. This is my first auto grow and it's frustrating...lol

But yea the weather has been all over the board from 43' too 85' and the only feeding they've had is a small dose of foxfarm grow big..

Based on your weather report it sounds like you're close to me and it's too cold to grow outside here for about another week ... I planted indoors 5/1 to have plants big enough to go outdoors on 5/26 ...

Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellant works great. I don't grow outdoors anymore but when I did, that's what I used. Never had a problem with deer once I started using it. Cold temps and heavy rains can play havoc on seedlings. One reason I never put any plants outdoors until they had at least 5 sets of true leaves. If that Scott's soil has slow release nutrients it could also be effecting your seedlings. Auto seedlings don't do well when in soil with slow release nutrients.

Really? They don't respond we'll to slow release nutes? I never heard that. The Scott's is jus plain old topsoil but the vigoro organic soil says it feeds for 3 months.. And I assumed the Rudy genetics would be pretty resistant to some mildly cool temps..lol I've got lots to learn about these autos...
