:crap: He got big nads to show up to the Spainabis Cup, I'll just say Im glad I was not there and had an opportunity to meet Mr. Stitch face to face, as I would have a very long mouthful... This thread is ALL about your work SouthSyder and am looking forward to following along! Once you get the pollen chucking going, it quickly becomes a very addictive thing.... So much so, I had to go into pollen chucking reform and reassess things, I dont get how people come out with SO MANY strains so quickly, I know personally and only being able to work with limited space, it is BLOODY HARD ASS work! and thats just working a couple of strains...
Stitch's gear use to be VERY GOOD! KVS was just a handsdown great smoke! SMH, he was a very sore sport here at AFN... No one can blame someone for others mistakes etc, but at the end of the day when you stamp your name on something, regardless of what happened behind the scenes (and it is a sorid tale to say the least) it's your gear and your rep on the line... I think things couldve been handled in a much better way, offers of replacement, refunds, etc and I think even with all the messups things couldve went differently and for the better... Though as I started the post with :horse: and so with that... Southsyder I will be following along and looking forward to seeing YOUR creation and how they are doing! As far as working the duckfoot to auto, may I suggest

Now here is the REAL DEAL and can't beat the price, possibly use that and cross it to the "mystery" duckfoot from stitch (which Im sure has the auto gene in it but just wasnt bred enough out to nail the trait down) and with a couple of generations you'll start to see the auto gene... Maybe start the project off with possibly f2'ing the auto duckfoot you have now, and hopefully the f2's will def have autos show up, than hit one of the f2's you made and than cross that to the photo duckfoot, than take that f1, and cross it to your f2 autos duckfoot and I think you'll be well on your way... I was ALWAYS fascinated by duckfoot and its unique look, but after much debacle ive lost interest in the strain for now, as I got to much FIRE to pop to start anything new...

Yeah, some nerve dude, I'm surprised some other disgruntled customer didn't give him a serve--but then, maybe one did! Can only hope.

Thought about my pollen slinging addiction too, but I ain't in no mind to reform just yet. True, breeding a true breeding strain is a massive bitch of a job, and I don't consider F1s (being sold as new strains on many seedbanks) to be a 'strain'. I helped finish someone else's work back in the 90's--a guy far more talented than I'll ever be (now passed away, RIP) so I know it's a bitch of a job.

That breeding protocol is a good idea, limits the genepool I gotta clean up--if, in fact, there are any auto genes in that Stitch gear at all. Seen the Sannies one too but I like Stitch's version. Don't know where he got it and what's actually in it but it is really serious ducksfoot; y'all will see what I mean when I crack the beans.

Thanks for the compliment bro, but I'm still feelin' my way around these autos and LEDs. Lotsa hot room HID WC habits to unlearn yet....

My Blue Onyx are kicking like they're being chased! Nice size for three weeks; kinda hungry though. I'm putting the Ca/Mg to 'em and they're improving but still showing the deficiency. Curiously, they're identical, nothing like the last three I grew--and I just don't get it. Very sati dom phenos and all gals.

Gal #1, small but identical to her sisters. Putting her legs down now.


Gal #2, large, nice structure, like her sisters.


Gal #3, identical to the rest.


Gal #4, blah blah blah....

Honestly, and please correct me if I am wrong. And please say whatever is on your mind.

I pride myself in staying calm. I was in the Marines after all. But when I see a post noted and posted as 'Stitches Last Stand' I am automatically obligated to get a little disturbed. I have ran hundreds of Stitches strains. Moreover, I was banned several times for posting semi-commercial grows whilst AFN was all praise hail the dragon. Now this puny little plant is posted as Stitches Last Stand? Ok, I will reserve myself as I always have. I am sure a Global Moderator will soon swoop me.

I have nothing to prove nor would I ever. I do however speak that Stitch is a good person. He may have had negative words in the past. What bothers me most is how this community outright makes fun of him as they did when he was legit in order to promote the dragons. It seems simplistic and non-important.

Dude, I hope some moderator doesn't swoop you. You're entitled to your say. As for the title, we've established it's tongue-in-cheek. The fact as I know it, and I've not known the days when Stitch was the bomb, I came after that, but my experience was pretty negative. But I've always been fair about it. Now an accidental cross produced these beans and on a gamble they turned out brilliant! I'll say it again, this thread ain't intended to detract from the guy but to show that he didn't go so far wrong as it's not easily fixable.

I'm sure lotsa others feel just like you do, but I ain't one of them, instead I let his work (or his breeders' work if that's what it is), puny plant or not, do the talking for him--and on the last run of these beans, they talked back pretty good!

As for the dragon thing you mentioned, I don't know anything about that, I'm only just trying them. If there's an agenda, then I missed it!

Now listen carefully: I'm hoping for another good result, and if so, then I've been nothing but fair and optimistic. Peace man.
