So i've seen all sorts of methods of growing and tried lots myself, one of the methods which used to be popular was Tiering.
Method being that you start in a small pot without a bottom, in a pot and then when it's established, you can easily transplant on into a bigger pot.
The theory is you get a better start in a small pot - which i can certainly say works for me for photo period plants. But Autos dont like to be transplanted much so the tiering method is more gentle.
Here's how it went for me
Long Tails
In their domes and small pots
Tiered to a large pot
Tiered to a small pot
Big pot tiered (under watered and probably N tox'ed)
Bit happier with the N tox dissapearing
As you can see - Things were NOT going blues way lol The little white widows did not like what i was doing to them. Pictures were either too dissapointing to take or post lol
Here's the out come
Both Girls
Big Pot Tier
Big Disclaimer
Dutch passion seeds are awesome!! I've grown WW normally since (without a journal (you can just about see it at the back of the cab in my 2nd Black Cream journal)) and the yeild was lovely - Jars full!
This was an experiment that i havent repeated - for me Tiering and multi-potting is over, but i guess you dont know until you try!
One seed - One pot - Dutch passion white widow will Thrive!
The Smoke!? Well ... it's white widow - really strong!!
The Smell - It's Dank!
It's not my every day smoke, but sure is a nice treat!!
(And also .. don't be fooled- there was over an ounce of bud there (not amazing ... but for the size - very reasonable! ^_^)
