You ever sit back and wonder if extraterrestrials only come here if they need a good laugh?
How about this? What if there is a god, he created man and the universe then threw some alien beings in to make things more exciting! We’ll never know the truth but it’s interesting with endless scenarios and possibilities. For all we know we could be just a cosmic turd as you say......
I'm with you as far as visitations, highly unlikely. The chances sentient beings have evolved elsewhere is more unlikely than most people are beginning to think. Our moon is one of the biggest reasons for life on this planet and from what we know (which is next to nothing) the moon shouldn't even exist where it does in orbit. It has more to do with the stability of our climate for long epochs in which life can survive than almost anything else. But whatever, we will never know the "Truth" because we will destroy life as we know it and mother nature will start all over without us. Peace.
The Christian bible says "God created the heavens and the earth" but never listed anything in the "heavens". So, there could very well have been "aliens" created at the same time man was, But Man was only given a dumbed down version of what happened because their minds couldn't fathom everything.

Actually it does. It goes into more detail than that. The problem with just adding aliens is that it's going against the grain of the entire bible; the entire theme. Add to that you are making an argument from silence and it weakens even further.
