I want to get a couple of CVaults and some Boveda packs for curing and storage. What size Boveda packs fit in the Small CVault and the Medium CVault?

65% Boveda packs, correct?

Any good alternatives to CVault that are good? Masterdam? Macete?

Anyone know if there are any AFN discounts for Boveda, CVault or any containers?

@F.N. @Dudeski @bushmasterar15 actually just gave me some great recommendations this morning on some alternatives!

Really if your effected by the seasons like winter, spring n summer with varying RH amounts.Use higher in winter and lower like a 49 or so in Summer like I do.Works really well.Cvault is nice. However it still needs to be gassed off some every day to expend those components instead of locking them INTO your flowers.can taint the flowers.Smell and flavors really. Those Bud saver Lids are nice too for Mason Jars.Super handy.

Oh man, I really like that!! Thanks!!

I know I need to off gas curing buds but what about once they are cured and I want to store them long term? I picked up a bunch of flower from a dispensary a while back and it’s still packaged up but I thought putting them into a container with some Boveda would keep it in better condition than leaving it in those airtight packages from the dispensary. Do I really need to off-gas cured bud every day?

Is there a better solution?

I use the 62% Boveda pack. I also have vaults, but changed back to glass jars.

Hrmmm. What does the 62% do that you like better than 65%

I was going by the instructions in the pinned thread in the Harvesting and Curing section and they recommend 65%. But I’m all ears and wanting to learn! We live in a normally pretty dry climate and the HVAC helps keep the RH fairly low. Even during and unprecedented period of rain an humidity over the past 5 weeks we haven’t had more than about 55% in the building, going by the hygrometer in the tent.

yeah 50-60 works fine. And once its cured and been dry for several weeks and gassed off and so on.you can essentially stop or really slow down on the gassing off man.But will have to be done every couple weeks once then even less as time goes on.trust your nose and give it a sample sniff here n there. And the pot shops that fucking seal up sucks usually.Like bad in some cases. They dry it and look at em then weight it up and seal it up for weeks sometimes.Smells green and tastes almost as unplenent as the smell. Not awesome! but, once they breath for a day or so they can be stuck into the vault and left to cure up.Also they also will need a few breaths of fresh air if it aint too late.Sealing it up and not letting it breath it a real bad move.I dunno why they do that.Stupid people I tell ya.LMAO

Thanks! I ordered some of the Bud Savers @Mañ'O'Green recommended and I’ll be repackaging that flower. I liked those because I can put them onto various sized mason jars which will make for a more affordable storage system.
