Hi friends
we need to be active!! Things change in the canna scene. Monsanto want to play the game the first company save strain name as a trademarke. Things will go out of order.

We need a opensource license for strain names and genetics like the linux community with there gpl license.

What are your ideas?
@Mod or admin please tag all the breeders so we can workout a license together.

My idea is if anybody breed with a strain and use genetics let me say from Dp and want to sell his strain he has at first contact the breeder and offer them some beans for free. In the discription for the new strain must be a generation info and whats the sart genetics.

Sample:
Strain: OrangeAssault
Genetic: ak47auto RQS x (lorwryder2 jointdocter x orangebud DP )
Generation: f3
Seeds: regular
license : open canna license

I think about some rules
1. Breeders inform from where the sartup genetics are from .
2.Share your new cross with the breeders where you get your start genetics are from.
3.the strain name is registerd under these license and can be use from other breeders with the credit to them
4. if a strain is under these license it is save and cant be registered as a trademark.

i think this would be a win win for all in the game.

We also need:
a website where all the strains be registered.
a logo for the license
a full outwork license wich could be avalibel at the breeders homepage and a titel like open canna license
