Just a thought that popped into my head.
You gotta think, some people graft branches from one plant onto another.
I think I remember seeing like a 4 strain cannabis plant.

That would be sweet - in some places, you're limited to the number of rooted cannabis plants that you can have at any given time. But if you graft on some branches from a half dozen strains, and swap with friends, you can have so many different kinds of weed!

That's a sweet way to get around limited plant numbers. Then again, you could just grow out the plants and swap bud instead of live branches, but at least that's some outside the box shit.

The idea was to have one mother plant with up to twelve strains on it...

Much easier to maintain one mother than twelve, not to mention saving on space, energy, nutrients, time...
