Hey AFN!! Time to get another grow up and running!! Like the title says...Candy Kush it is!!
The setup
Tent:Growlab 120(4 X4)
Lights: Dual Solar Storm 400 Leds with UVB(I will only fire up 1 panel until they get to be about 12-14 days old then hit em with both).
Medium: Pro Mix HP amended with Aluminum Sulfate(drops ph) and Perlite. The mix is 5 gallons pro mix to 1 gallon perlite to 20 grams of aluminum sulfate mixed in. This mix creates a very airy medium, along with the lower ph(6.3) feeds and frequent waterings, IMO, creates bigger yields. With my water source, I do not have to use any PH adjusters (great thing!!).
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients- Sensi A&B grow and bloom, Snesizyme, carboload, big bud, hammerhead, rhino skin, voodoo juice, over drive and might throw in some bud factor X and some kushy kush.
H&G roots Excelurator ALWAYS!!
Pots:5 gallon smart pots. I normally use EZ root pots, but want a shorter/wider base for these ladies, because this strain likes her root room!!
Will run a 6" clip fan and a 30" tower oscillating fan in the corner.(Andy Botwin's idea to save tent room!!)
Will be filling the pots with medium and soak the beans tonight, and when they show a tap root, I will drop them in their final containers!!
A note on my germ method, I fill a shot glass with distilled water and put 1 drop of Roots Excelurator in, not sure if it helps, but it make me feel better!!! My germination rates have been stellar doing this.
