OK!!! It's ON!!! All beans up and the first beans I started on the 24th even came up too!!! I thought they were dead. So, we have Northern lights Blue and some rather vigorous Cheesus up and running!!! Will post some pics tomorrow. That was the weirdest germination I have ever had!!! Never had a germination take that long!! I guess Mother Nature IS on her own schedule! Have a great weekend everyone!!

Quick up date. Instead of giving different day of seeds, I will just go by weeks. I tiered the seeds with the first not coming up, and by the time I dropped more beans, they ALL came up at different days. Like I said, WEIRD germ this time!!! Anyway, starting week 2 and all is well in the tent. Temps have dropped to 72* due to outside weather drop and turned the inside heat off(spring is here in the great north). I have 10 Cheesus dragons up and 4 Northern Lights Blue up and running!!! I have a NLB that is a mutant and don't know what to make of her, but she will be grown out just the same. Not much to look at, but here are some pics...

Grow is looking great. Read most of your other logs very detailed so far. Question for you, I see the filter is on the floor(I thinks), can I ask what's your reason behind that?

2 reasons why the carbon filter is on the floor......
1) Humidity uses up the carbon faster in my opinion, being hung from the top of the tent, where the moist heat is.
2) I run LED and want all the heat to stay inside to better regulate my temps, whereas MH/HPS you want to vent the heat through a cool tube or the carbon filter from the ceiling because the HID(MH/HPS) gets the tent too hot and heat rises. Led runs pretty cool all year long, and I dont have heat issues most folks do in the summer. In the winter is where I pay up because with Led, your room temp is about your tent temp + or - a few degrees, so in the winter time, we crank the heat up and run around in t shirts and shorts!!!

Lucky. 75 out side, inside tent 90 for me lol. So with some one who is having some hotter issues would be more wise to keep it at the top? (Not with hps).

yes, running MH/HPS, I would run it at the top, OR get a cool tube and exhaust out into a carbon filter. Many ways to set it up bro. What ever works for your set up!! Dont be afraid to try something different for next time!!!
