Thanks ripster! Ya know it's sucha repeated thing you see about cfls vs hps. I've read a few places the HID is just more intense and penetrating but that the cfl had more usable light. I think im just going to scrap everything i've ever read and try it for myself. My next grow after this one will be another single plant...but this time im going to take 2 cfl bulbs( 23 watt 2700k and 23 watt 6500k ( i'm going with 23 watters because they have the best lumen per watt ratio 69.5 watts per lumen...also because i can get them for 1.19 a piece ..) ) and place them sideways in a square sealed frame with tempered glass covering it ( i saw a test that a guy did on another thread...same bulb same everything except 1 of the lights was covered by tempered glass...when he held a light meter to them both he discovered there was little if any light loss ).. Then on top of the sealed frame put 2 small pc fans that will exhaust air...and 2 small pc fans on the bottom in taking air. Im going to construct 5 of these. 1 on each side..and the top ofcourse. My hope is 2 literally be able to put the frames right up against the plant for maximum penetration.

ok..sorry for the slight delay folks. Here are the shots 2 weeks later...buds got a little tighter..im seein some amber trichomes. Although im a little worried about the leaves. I read else where that the plant uses up the nitrogen in the leaves right before harvest..though this looks a little extreme. Let me know what you think.

Also..i added a small boost in c02. It prolly only raised it a few 100 ppms but it's better than what was in there.
Easy mix
1 pound of sugar
1 packet of wine yeast
and i filled the AZ container about 3/4 of the way with warm water.

I shake every day. I have a smaller bottle that lets me know when i need to add more sugar/yeast

Whats a good time period for harvest? I was gonna give it another 2 weeks.
As of today the plant is 65 days from seed. and im sure it would have been done MUCH sooner had i not suffered multiple burn spots and the most recent yellowing problem.

Takeing another look im thinking maybe a week more. Any opinions greatly appreciated

i'd say run 2 more weeks and give it a shot of flower nutes to help it.... but before you do that... whats ur soil ph? water ph? nute line?

also a little molasses and epsom salts to help calcium magnesium..... it'll swell those buds up a bit for ya... then flush the last week with plain ph'ed water...

its sad but...i dont have a ph tester..is the water from the bottom of the planter a good test subject?

o and botanicare veg and bloom. i think i may have given too much bloon juice. tbsp in a gallon :X idk what the fuck i was thinking.
