Grow Mediums Bromeo's Reptile Room

:d5: Whaddup G'!?
.... about ML and DM, yeah, I literally can only imagine brother,... you've a right to be a little mad about it! I gather there was nothing malicious about it, just a heap careless and with a side of batshit cray-cray... And you can recreate it again at some point if you chose,... knock on a few doors, and PJEM's might be found out there instead of PO, which is mostly the same anyway, right? Meantime, you do indeed have something good to chew on with NR! 50 days is already mighty fast dude, it'd be quite the challenge (and luck) to find greater speed and lock it down,...but that's the fun, ay? Certainly, one wouldn't want them to initiate flowering before 2 weeks,..? I assume bloom speed is what you prefer,... You will sport wood when you grow out some Mephisto gear! ...could easily draw you to a whole other potential cross- :eyebrows: -like you need more breeding stock with that grab bag of goodies! :haha: ...Seems we are tit's deep in choices these days for quality auto's! ....... Haaaa, the fountain cups again! :greenthumb:- you grew some fatties in those things,... next comp' that comes around that works with limited pot volume, you'll have to enter, and open up da School! :pimp: What are those, 42oz? ......... Try rinsing your brick coco out with Ca-Mg water along with the surfactant stuff, I think it'll help speed this process,.. it's that damn Na that's the problem! ...Verde Fire, organic you say? Ima look it up,... I tried the GO Box this last run, and it's a nice package, but there's a learning curve with them for sure,... think I underfed, or the N source wasn't quite rich enough; I got early fan eating on all,... but others, like Margahooja, who grow excellent plants consistently, uses GO line,... could be my outdoor env. factors might be changing things too,....gotta really make sure the soil herd is flourishing and replenished, to keep the nute' cycling going strong, which also might be part of my problem,... I'm eager to see how the VF nutes perform for you! ... agreed, on the multipot harvesting flexibility...

>> :spels::spels: ... Twin pots are looking really good Bromeo, nice and bud-lush! Clearly, they don't much mind a little crowding,... Yup, I see the Mg defc. looking leaves,.. oddly high up, but the symptoms look like it in those pics,...get me a close-up of one, just to be sure,... sometimes defc.'s like Zn and S start out looking similar; seeing a little lower down N fade too, but thta's not out of line given their speed I guess! ...what's their aroma like? Dude, where do you get those fat fuzzy ties? My local shops don't seem to carry them, and I want to try! ....... Hmmm, very nice healthy teener's there!... I see what you mean, I think with those long petioles and fat, flat fans, and that finger posture, there's Dragon in there... **** ..... Oooo, nice nuggy's! Is that from the twin girls in post #4? Ima break you balls a little on getting better close up pics!  ..... Dig the poo-water set up! -looks delish'....:pie:

The pH of the runoff was like in the vinegar range. By the time I figured out the damage it was to late. It caused lockout allowing those leds to start cooking. All because I didn't wash the cheap ass coco. That was amateur mistake number 1.

Then on one I did exactly what you were thinking. I flipped it way to fast neglecting it some N early on. Compound that with Verde Fire missing lots of things and you get one ugly skinny plant. I'll take some pics of it tonight.

Verde fire is missing essential stuff. For now I'm adding it to the brewer along with guano, worm castings, molasses and calmag. I'll show the results tonight as well.

Those are 44 and 52 Oz cups. Jool's says she can't finish a 52..

Yes I multipot all regulars still. I kill any males that pop up and just can't bring myself to kill a perfectly good female. So I bend em, twist em and bind them. Don't tell anyone but I even top some to create a bush. So long as each pot produces at least an Oz dry I'm good. The only time I have problems is when the strains are so different that they require specific individual needs. In that case I feed organic only and light as hell so I can chop one a little early and then resume heavy feeding with the other. Damn mixed bag.

Sadly:dammit: I can never make ML again. It was a cross of critical jack and a pink ogre. I think pink ogre is gone for good. Unless this little pill bottle I found with seeds in it are ML-f2.

I suppose since it's my reptile room then I should show y'all some reptiles. I'll show some off here and there. I'll nerd it up a little by throwing some info out there on each one I post. I keep mostly uncommon colubrids and....well some just plain oddball species.

Starting off with this guy. This is an albino elaphe carinata or king rat snake or royal rat snake. It's Latin means "stinking goddess" due to it extremely powerful musk gland. It's a powerful stank that it near impossible to wash off. They have an unwarranted reputation for biting and mean behavior because of lacking education an damaging YouTube channels like snakebytestv(morons). The truth is they are very shy but curious snakes. If handled from a young age they are quite tame and entertaining. They don't lash out when eating like some species. Instead they with till they think they aren't being watched they eat in seclusion.
This particular guy is Derpy Dan. He's sorta special. Possibly due to his albinoism(new word?) he seems to have vertigo. He seriously could care less if he's upside-down or not. He's also perfectly content to hold onto my wrist like that for as long as he's out. He only struck once and that was because I was messing with his embilical cord scar and he missed. He's great with kids. Really a cool species and a pretty good pet.

Harvest update about 2 days late. I harvested the couple that really got the pH burn. As you can see the burn looks bad but this happened weeks ago and I didn't panic and chop on the spot. These auto's are much more resilient then one might think. I simply found the source of the burn, corrected it and resumed my normal feeding. As you can see the burn is only surface deep and is removed during a normal trimming. That said it's was still embarrassing as hell.:face:

It looked so bad.

What up Bromeo  Congrats on the harvest nice save the buds look A1!! Sweet snake too... the color is just awesome. Keep the pics coming bro never get to see reptile porn on afn! lol

Long overdue update. I chopped the really ugly one I flipped to soon but still got a good harvest. Then I started a few more in my favorite pots. The 52Oz convince store cups. I started a bunch but after the smoke cleared I'm left with 2 females. I had hoped for more since I just made collideial silver water. I was going to female a few. Gonna have to go on the back burner for now.

I had to ditch the Verde Fire line for now. It clogged the shit out of the soil and is not a complete as I had hoped. I had to go back to Grow More. Well that's all I can think of for now so enjoy the pics. Check out the passive lst I'm working on. I love this technique but I'm not always willing to take the time. OK now I'm done. Peace:peace:

The passive lst from above.

I prefer these 52oz cups over anything. I water them two to three times a day during flower and average a little over an ounce dry. That's all I'm looking for. A zip a plant is all I ask.
