Indoor Buddha Seeds Purple Kush Grow Journal

Ill go ahead and do that..half a cup of soil right?

And yea it wasn't really orange but it looked a little low..I guess only way to check is to do the slurry test :bong:

And yea man ill probably water with distilled water next watering to raise my ph if its low..do I need to add the lime to buffer it or can I just use water that's ph'd a little higher to even it out?

1/2 cup soil + 1 cup of water MIX
let it for 30 minutes
check ph.

you also dont want to feed a higher PH than 6.3-6.8 -- you will just stress the plant if you do.
the dolomite lime is whats going to fix/buffer the soil.

Should I just mix the soil with bottled water or what? Wouldn't my test vary based on the ph of the water I'm mixing?

And ill go to Lowe's tomorrow and get some dolomite lime..do u apply on to the soil or put in in the water?

Thanks for help :smokebuds:

regardless of your water -- if the soil buffer is at ph 5.0-5.5 -- you will see the same exact result.

when i did a slurry test with my soil - i ran a side by side test

1 cup filled with my tap water (ph about 8-8.5)
1 cup filled with water ph at (6.5)

both test resulted in a 5-5.5 ph (because of my soil)

i would do a side by side to see the difference -- atleast a test with a properly phed water

Purple kush update day 46.

Hey guys ill try to some this up nice and quick.

As you can see the one on the right is much more lanky while the shorter one has a much tighter bud structure.

The tall one was looking bad after i fed some bloom nutes but a few days later i gave regular non phd watering and its looking better

:D

heres the top of the taller one.

not any other close ups of the taller pk since its basically just the top that has some real buds right now..but if i gently squeeze the top my fingers have a nice berry like smell kinda hard to explain but good :wiz:

Heres some pics of some yellowing/dying of leaves im having..these were took under the hps not under natural light like the close ups, but hopefully its good enough to where u guys can tell whats going on.

In this last pic in the backround u can see some leaves at the very bottom have died off.

I will post pictures under natural light soon because i know the hps will make the photos look slightly different than what im seeing, but can anybody tell from these pics? ive had some yellowing but not the whole darker looking shriveled end of leaves thing that you see :cough:

I must say though that yellowing doesnt have me down at all, its my first purple strain and im loving it none the less, i wanted all purple nuggs and im getting them!

They look like they rebounded from your initial problem and caught another one.. I've never seen leaves mutated like that before (they're like, rounded out? is it burn? nute burn? .. how much tiger bloom did you give?) What happened with the lime flush?

Beautiful bud shots brother, love the color!

Thanks man, as far as the lime I need to get more distilled water I used the last of it on my younger plants.
I didn't disregard that tip, it will be done probably tomorrow or the next day :bong:

And when I fed them tiger bloom I gave 1/4 tsp.
I know it wasn't more because I used a 1/4 tsp measuring cup and it was a little less than full. I even took a photo of the nutes in the measuring cup just so I can look back and be certain.
:smokebuds:

Have I ever asked what kind of water you use before ? ... I don't think I have, you ALWAYS water with distilled?

can somebody clear this up for me?

Hey guys this may be a stupid question but when you feed bloom nutes for the first time, are u suppose to keep feeding bloom nutes every watering until the final flush?

For example..I gave my shorter pk its first feeding of bloom nutes about 4 days ago. It needs some more water so do I need to feed it more bloom nutes again or just regular ph'd water and then more bloom after the regular watering?

I kno they say start light and build up but do I do..

Light dose of bloom nutes--> regular ph'd water-->stronger dose of bloom nutes--> and so on until final flush.

Or

Light dose of bloom nutes--> stronger dose of nutes-->more bloom nutes--> until final flush.

Please let me know the better way :D thanks guys!

Check the PH value

From this basic start

Maybe I was wrong
