My poor plant is leafless because of issues during the grow. The buds are not as big as they might have been but they have a useful coating of resin glands and are looking mature. I'm checking the trichomes on a daily basis now and am not sure I'm seeing enough signs to cut.

Question is: Given the leaflessness can the trichomes continue to develop thc-wise or will they more likely lose momentum and start to degrade?

What dothe trys look like?

They're a mix of clear/cloudy on green bud areas. On the leafy type growth, purplish to brown growth there is plenty of amber. Therein is my dilemma, whether to discount the way the trichs look on the less desirable looking parts of the bud. Through a 40X loupe it looks like a sea of crystals. Through the 60X you see more amber because the 60X picks up those amber coated dryer leaves and doesn't easily let you see inside. They're standing pretty mucuh straight up. I can't judge how swollen through the 40X.

That's how they look.

Pictures? Even without leaves you should be able to tell by how swollen the buds are and if they have filled out the internodal gaps. I know it's virtually impossible to get pics of the trichs close up, but if you can that'd be awesome. Sending super trich Karma your way

The plant has had a debilitating grow. The buds will not get to full internodal fullness. Can't read leaves cause there are none. Pistils totally done. I'm hanging loose till I see for sure more amber. Fwiw the breeder thinks this strain is best when 30% amber. Pix of the plant available in this forum in a thread called Oops what is thus. The plant in question is the White Dwarf. My question is can thc keep forming in a less than vital plant like this? Or is it more likely to deteriorate. I bumped the other thread up for your convenience.
