I’ve been making my own soil. I’m following various bits of advice Ive gotten here and from other on line sources. I’m pretty sure I don’t know what I’m doing but it seems to be working. Hmm.. not sure that makes sense either! Anyway
I keep a few totes of reused soil. Occasionally, I’ll add a bag of organic soil if needed. I added red wrigglers, cannabis leaves and root balls, veg matter, cardboard, occasionally LABS and nematodes. The soil is almost black. I’m trying to add more leaves and garden materials. Recently, I’ve learned I maybe overfeeding. So, I wait until most of the food has been eaten before adding more. I haven’t added any guano or manure. Should I be looking and other additives for a more well rounded soil?
