Outdoor Butterflys in my belly.. Need assessment of game plan and have questions

Ok its that time of year. Past experience is limited but i have had success indoors.

Soil around here isn't bad, I plan on hauling in a large bail of pro mix to mix with natural soil.

I have a ton of advanced nutrients.. 24 bottles in all but some are 2 part..

I have 25 auto afghan mass's and about 15 more autos (afghan express's and some singles).. I also will have 30-40 early photos.. seeds are being started tonight and digging expedition will be this weekend.

Bear protection.. machete, bear spray, and if shit comes to shovel some brass balls and a very sharp pointy 9 inch survival knife.

Location on the sunny side of a fairly high hill about 1 km from a small pond that i dont think anyone even knows exists.. location is a hard 2 km hike off an old logging road, scouted area and there are no signs of trails or paths(except bear and moose paths lol)

We do see a fair amount of rain in the fall.. nothing too crazy but mold is #1 on my list of worrys, autos should be fine but the photos will need help.. Any help with a safe fungicide? Is neem oil extract all its cracked up to be? Slugs are huge pests in this area, any help with that? The slugs around here dont get much bigger then an inch and a half long.. I heard breaking up egg shells and applying them around your patch's will help keep them away. Any suggestions on fungicide and pest control would be greatly appreciated.

Stelth shouldnt be an issue, very secluded area, will have a friend drop me off and pick me up and have constant vhf contact with family if i find myself in trouble of any sorts.. I am a fairly experienced outdoorsman but my body is wrecked, I am holding off on shoulder sugary and knee sugary to pull this off. Cant go for a surgary without a stock pile of meds

I plan to visit my crops once a week.. I know thats a lot for a stealth grow but its in the middle of nowhere and im pretty sure i can pull that off without issue

I think garden safe brand fungicide has a product with both fungi and insect control.Look for them at walmart,home depot,or garden centers.

There are lots of products with fungicidal properties. Baking soda solution is safe. The problem is that when the mold comes it come fast and will turn your buds to mush in a couple of days. The presence of slugs means you are in a damp area and so at high risk. The solutions are to grow an early variety and hope to harvest before the wet arrives or buy seeds with high mold resistance. AMS (anti mold system) from greenhouse seeds perhaps. Egg shells do deter slugs, deter rather than prevent. I have tried various organic anti slug techniques but none came close to chemical slug pellets in effectiveness. Just cast the pellets wide onto the ground and the slugs come to eat them clearing the area. Slugs like young plants, they will leave them alone after a a couple of weeks of growth.

I wouldn't put all that in one area ... if it gets found all your work goes to waste, personally id rather have 3 or 4 smaller grows just incase

Copper rings on the plant or around the base of the plant, its like reacts with their slime and deteres them from what ive been reading..

Why quit the indoor growing?

If you hadn't mentioned a pond I would be willing to believe you found a secluded spot...but where there is a pond there will definitely be other humans who are aware of it.

Outdoor grows are usually very risky due to insects & wildlife.
As for the snails/slugs: Definitely use slug pellets. Nice wide area around your plants. Don't be skimpy. Use liberally. Re-apply if the rain beats them down or washes them away.

If your instinct assures you no one else is gonna find your plants, I would look into putting some kind of netting over them. If bears are a worry then you can be sure deer or some other critters are around, too---and they WILL munch on your plants.

But again, why quit the indoor growing?

Thanks for all the input.. Not gonna respond in order lol.. No deer in this area but we do have moose.. The pond is very small about 75% up a hill in very thick brush, its not a hill that anyone would try to hike for fun.. Theres a ridge that i can drive 2 and hike at only a slight incline. Wildfire is normally not an issue but some years it goes mad! I'll grab the slug pellets for sure, copper ring sounds interesting as well. I guess I'll go with garden safe fungicide and use light amounts as a preventive measure i dont want 2 but there its better then risking it.. Haven't quit indoor but i had to cut back to 2-3 med sized plants because we moved and im strapped for space lol I do plan on putting out a lot of patches.. just 4-5 plants in each patch... prolly on the hill and find a location across the river.. I am a work horse just hoping my body can stand it.. If i didn't respond to anything sorry I was hitting some blue medi kush from spliff seeds while reading/replying.. BMK 4/5 worth the grow space thats for sure
