Coming to the end of another grow ... I use RO water and have been adding about 5mg Cal/Mag per gallon with every watering ... I'm wondering if I should continue w/ it during the cleanse ... almost all fan leaves are yellow or gone at the eight week point ... also ... if my water is ph 7 going in at this point, is there really any need to bring it down, isn't that just adding acid to the water that will eventually end up in the buds ?

Appreciate any and all input ... :bong:

good question, I do a little just in case.. I've always wondered about that 'acid' thing when I ph my water for my 'mix' I only add apx 10 drops of 'up' to 3 gal, and if I have to go down say 6.2 to 5.8 it only takes a couple drops to get there so is it really that much 'acid' to worry about but then again I'm growing dwc

I wouldnt use any cal-mag during flush after smelling that crap every feeding lol. I couldnt imagine smoking it.

I just feed plain water for the cleanse/final flush there's no need for nutrients of any kind bro.

do you ph the water (dwc) to 5.8, 6.5 or 7? or does it matter (or can anyone really tell the difference?)

Just about to start my first DWC grow and I will be around 5.8 for that but for soil I'm luck as my tap water is 6.6 after adding nutes.

Flushing in DWC I will follow Seymour's method and use unadjusted plain water for the final flush to force the plant into cannibalising as much of the food and minerals in her leaves and buds including calcium and magnesium as possible.

good luck with your dwc ..I only flush for a day or two...I tried the stop feeding/flush once and discovered my plant was still growing so I put her back on the feed bag for a few more weeks ... I guess after one is happy with the trichrome color and ready to finally 'call it a day' then flush and cut....

Thanks for the input guys ... I watered all three w/ plain RO water ... Hop digity
