I hear a lot about using cal mag. I see some use it every time they water. Is it always needed?

If you are running LEDs it's pretty much a requirement for a healthy grow ...

For autoflowers no matter what light is being used its almost always essential.

OK. I better get some then. First time. At day 38 on OF soil and nutes. no problems so far but don't want to wait until there is a problem.
Do u recommend any brand names?

I use Botanicare CalMag+ ... a quart has lasted thru many grows ...

I use Evoponic Magi-Cal but thats just because its the only stuff my local grow shop sells.
Im fairly sure Advanced Nutrients do a cal/mg supplement. Canna do separate bottles of calcium and magnesium or they do a bottle with both which is only new.
Any cal/mg supplement should be fine.
