I can't tell you about the bush scenario honestly, I'm only on day 12 currently. They are pretty tight and bushy right now though, they haven't stretched out. Here's a photo of day 6-7 in the tent.

Right on. That looks good. I use smart pots also. Whats your nutrient line?

I am running 1 in a 2 x 2 now. Just got the other one back last week from being fixed. I have 2 Wild Thai Ryders almost completed. I'll get pics up on them later today! All are looking good guys! The leds stack the nodes pretty tight and I have found that after about week 2, I need to bring them up to about 30 inches from the canopy to get em to stretch good, but have never gotten a plant past 28 inches high with my setup.

Please do post some photos. It makes me wonder if I'll need any supplementary lighting....

For a while i had the 880 alone as my veg light alll the way at the top of the tent. The plants still wouldn't stretch . But since im trying a few autos out i wanted to be able to utilize the light spectrums according to the plants. Ive been toying with the idea of running both tents with autos full time so we will see how my first auto run goes.

If your only doing 2 plants youll probably have enough light. The only thing maybe in the future would be for you to have a 440 in the middle and you could angle your 220s /-\ like that. Then youd have surround lighting with the uvb supplement and be drawing less then a 600watt mh set up. The uvb bulbs increase Thc production .

I'll definitely take that into consideration for the future. This is my first grow, so I'm all for advice. I just raised my lights from 16" to 24" to see if they will stretch any. The soil seems moist still, so I won't feed them today in hopes the roots will reach out.

With your set up get them 12-18 inches or as close as you can get them so long as if you place your hand right where your top is located and it doesn't feel uncomfortable and the leaves dont curl up from heat stress you will be good. If you decide to start feeding just start really low and make sure you don't over do it.

Having the lights closer will promote more growth?
