Lighting California Lightworks

Is this considered heat stress? I can turn the a/c unit temps down if need be.

That could be considered heat stress but one of my autos did that and it wasn't hot by any means. But to answer your previous question the closer your lights are (comfortably of course) the more your plant focuses it's energy on side branching and node production rather then stretching for light. So you'll end up with bushier plants with denser buds.

Have either of you noticed the plants need alot of cal/mag?? My experience is if I dont hit em full dose by week 3 I get real bad cal mag defficiency. 2 x 2 x 5 tent with 1-220w Solar Flare full spectrum at 1 week before chop on 2 wild thai ryders as promised...

Heres 2 veg plants as you can see they have filled out and are very dense so when i flower i will have a fairly even canopy with many top colas. I will thin them out a little bit by using the lollipop method. If you look at the single plant image above from my bloom tent you'll notice the bare branches down lower and how they appear almost palm tree like.

I lowered them to roughly 12"-13" and lowered my a/c unit temp to 68 degrees, leaving the canopy area around 77-78 degrees. I will check on them periodically tonight to make sure all is well.

Not usually but that could be due to my nutrient line or other variables.

What nutrients are you running briman? I'm not sure if I missed it or not.

I run AN and Mills, but exclusively Mills for the last year. I had to run a bunch of cal/mag with AN too. Could just be my water supply too. I run tap in a 5 gallon bucket with an airstone on it for a few days before I mix. I also go through a ton of PH down. I add the cal/mag and silica and that drive up my PH too. PH perfect doesn't work with my bubbled tap very well. May look into a RO system soon.
