calling all clever clogs... what's the problem?

:smoking: Cheers 'Sm0, thank you!

...Wayward, what light is this again? A DIY or which brand and model? ...if you've raised the light and dimmed, that might be too much the other way-? Keep in mind the physics here, and how intensity drops off very quickly with distance,...your symptoms are mild, no roasted leaves or anything, so a smaller adjustment is all that's needed, and still keep strong light for bloom,... watch them for a few days, and see if color returns and no more symptom progression,.... HM-- light hammering like this does cause similar symptoms to Mg defc., as the chlorophyll molecules get broken down some by this intensity,... since it's on the uppers only, it's the light intensity causing it,...

Wow again. You do explain things clearly. Thanks.

I've got a 4 cob set up with clu048 1212 3500k on 1400ma driver. 50w per cob down to 25w dimmed

Waira is correct. If you were at 50w and 20" I'd raise it to 24 undimmed. Just an example.. Dimming and raising will most push you to far into the under powered category. Or to save electricity I may dim it down by 10% but nothing more than duffle adjustments. Keep a close eye on the plants and continue to adjust as needed.

@Waira I've just looked at your threads and found quick and dirty deficiency picture depot and apart from being a bloody good title it's a dam good thread. I'm sure what you've explained is right. It makes complete sense. She's due for a water in the morning so I'll just give her a light water so she can live off any nutes left in the soil and give her two days rest before I pump her back up on the drugs that she likes. Lol.

@heavilymedicated I've looked around here and on another site and I think your bang on with the magnesium being a problem. Thanks for pointing me that way.

I'll definitely be watching her closely lol. I'm obsessed! I'm sure there is enough light on her at the moment. I only dropped the intensity by 10%at most and raised her 6". She's still swamped in light 100w at 30". I would like to raise intensity in time though cos of the extra light AND heat. They will both help her swell.

Take it that this issue is resolved?
I can relate to the obsession
Good work on remedying the situation.
