Ya cool to have came across the thread you've made I have had my 315 for probably 7-8 months and find it kicks ass

Dude i lied haha I think it's about 6 months haha.......all I know is I been growing some kick ass weed with my 315 haha all the days blend together now dude haha

I'm 3/4 thru my first CMH grow, Short stuff gorilla glue, coco & autopots. All going well.

The CMH is amazing, gives issues tho when closer than 25". So lesson learnt there, i'm at 20 now and got a bit of taco. Will bear this in mind for the next grow.

I've also got a supplemental LED from my previous system in there.

Hey @Nuglet .......I have a few CMH grows under my belt but always learning dude.....autos are all i am doing at the moment but I had my light down to 18".....I thought it was better to have it closer!!.....I had it there a few times until I read more into light distances, also how the plant functions with so much light.....now I try and keep it at about 20"-24" dude.

I think the cost of the light plus the heat makes them not as good as current cob lights. I am thinking they are on par with first or second gen led. Just what I'm seeing.

Fair comment mate........I'm yet to try a COB as I don't think I would use another type of grow light right now........I'm sure people who use COB's think the same.......I'm just mega happy with my light dude

I don't use cob atm I run a 1k how and two grow northern first gen led. I just hate the heat it puts out and the hps bulb only good for flower. I'm curious what a side by side hear wise it gives off the cmh..i wasn't trying to put down your light mate. Just did research and wanted to share some info.

Thanks Vapo next grow I’ll make more of an effort to keep plants lower and light higher. Got about 2-3 weeks left on my current GG attempt. All looking good
