Old Reviews Calling all who use Vaporizers!!

Having own many "top" vaporizers, I've not seen equal quality in any of them. And did you see? The IQ has a 10 year warranty!

I may have to get one of those I really like them. Out of curiosity I dismantled one of mine my oldest one just to see how difficult it would be to replace batteries and such. That's how I know they're using a decent quality battery in there gotta be some quality.

Now because I can reach DaVinci anytime online through their chat I actually believe they'll honor that 10 year warranty. You don't find that with other companies like airizer you can't reach them directly. At least not the last time I tried which has been a few years.

I have a Haze Dual V3 and absolutely love it. Very versatile. It has different canisters that can be filled with dry, dab, or oil. Also has screens for convection or conduction. I only use it with dry, so one of the best things that I enjoy is you can purchase additional canisters and a small carrying case so you can load enough herb to last a weekend. Different shape, but very stealthy.
Here is a youtube review;

Disclaimer: I have not tried any other brand, but did a lot of research before purchasing.

I tried and reviewed a vap pen. It was not hot enough for proper vaporization of oil. My weed burnt and it was too small. Had to fill 10 times to get stoned. I am a heavy smoker.

I want to test smoke before I take the chanse on the investment. If it is not good enough, I waste £120. One can complete a grow on that budget.
Correction: It works okay with oil. But a oil rig and a nail is better.

What is your price limit?
Do you want a portable or desktop version?
Conduction or convection or mixed?
Is butane powered a candidate?

There are lots of vapes out there and a lot of them are not good...
Spend a bit more and buy quality, once.

I will check back for your answers and let you know my experiences with various vapes.

Salutations LazyLathe,

There's not much going on lately so i'll take the questionaire!

What is your price limit?

So far the limit has been this, if i can manage to make a proper preliminary evaluation out of memory alone:

HerbalAire + Arizer V-Tower + VaporGenie ~ 1500 $

More like 2000 $ after accounting for butane lighters and many other 3rd-party accessories...

:wall:

Initially i was expecting to get even at 315 $ CAD, all fees paid, then i gradually discovered i'd need to find/develop an adapted alternative all by myself, simply because no ready-made commercially-available solution seemed inclusive enough.

Do you want a portable or desktop version?

Apparently i'm currently aiming for a 2-parts "Bi-Energy" transformer!... Table-top using electro-magnetic Induction Heat to access a more precise pulsed/dosage method, single-hand operation, bio-feedback, etc., then "Plan-B" where "B" stands for "Butane", as a "fall-back" option.

Conduction or convection or mixed?

Most definitely mixed! Conductive/radiative heat for Pre-Heating, then convection for the final act. Zero baking/ovenizing ideally, never slow.

Is butane powered a candidate?

Yes, actually i depend on it. :greencheck:
Beyond that total abstinence awaits me again! :condom:

Hopefully someday guys like me will obtain the benefits without any comet dust ingestion. There's no doubt in my mind that IH technology would handle this challenge just fine (and leave competition far behind), though looking at past evidence i fear i won't be among those who can buy it for less than 315 $ CAD in any close future.

There are lots of vapes out there and a lot of them are not good...

Well, i learned (the hard way) how to classify vaporizers depending on their Release/Transport Agent and it became quite obvious from my standpoint there's still too little room for my definition of inclusivity (...), especially with mercantile needs in a designer's balance.

Perhaps customers should start their own co-op or something!...

:coffee2:

On another hand Egzoset is plenty of proof since 2010 (...) that the internet bottleneck of planet cannabis ain't very different from that of planet Itnoc, but that's quite another topic. Lets simply argue that cooperation is no power-driver in a fragmented "community" as ours, meanwhile prohibition continues to make advances (the environmental No. 44 ban law in Qc/Canada on e-Cigs AND vaporizers besides smoked tobacco/nicotine, for example - next they'll "protect" us from the "dangers" of second-hand fart i guess!)... In other words even if/when nearly-ideal healthwise vaporizers become a reality it still will be forbiden to share the fun publicly - by law.

Anyway, usually what's inside the device comes late if not last all too often. Yet this is where a new vaporist should begin his search, with the fundamentals inside. But quite frankly i'm under the impression that too few manufacturers can afford to boldly valorize their "know-how" with sufficiently convincing hard facts. Worse, plenty of bad apples keep surrounding the few good ones and don't count on governments to fix that as it only supports inflicting more negative consequences via new prohibitionist laws - now a done deal in my province.

Spend a bit more and buy quality, once.

YMMV, there are implementations that can never claim being the greatest considering their corresponding concept was fundamentally flawed at the blue-prints stage. Not to mention i'm allergic to "black-box" designs.

M'well, thanks for those long minutes reflecting on my own personal vaporist venture. In retrospective the one thing that felt even more rare/priceless than a "good" vaporizer was the opportunity to truly dialog on a 1-to-1 basis, fully focussed on a common topic: healthy cannabic vaporization.

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

Thanks for all the input you have given,i wasnt getting notifications on this thread..Since the original post the Auto Warriors have managed to get Hopper Labs on for an interview, they have also agreed to sponsor a live test for the Cannazone Test Team..I will continue to contact the various vape companies and hopefully we can get more tests going..peace

For concentrates I have the Puffco pro. Works good on the go but no comparison to a rig. Battery life is good, flavor and vapor production is good. It will get clogged up but a hair dryer can fix that easy.

For dry herbs I have two. The pax 2 and the snoop dog g-pro. The Gpro gets to hot around the mouth piece and tastes funky sometimes. I bring this to concerts and such because I don't care if I lose it or it gets stolen.

The pax 2 is my go to. I love it.vapor/flavor is too notch especially compared to the g-pro. It also does not get nearly as hot as the g-pro. Although it's much better with the perforated cap and extra screen method (just search YouTube) it works great stock. And I recommend it to all my friends

Hope that helps

all 3 pax are golden, but they all get hot with alot of use. Portable dab rig....Dr. Dabber boost is a freakin beaster!!! That thing hits like a acutual nail setup and it really stretches you concentrates. On hit on that thing last for a couple tokes and doesn't really get going until you put the carb cap on top! I tried to get them on, but they were not interested at all! Challenge accepted! I'll try again and get em here!
