Looking for some insight from you outdoor growing veterans, mainly backyard/patio growers. I have moved into a new house and I have a very secluded & fenced backyard space. In the past I have nestled some autos in containers among my tomato and jalapeño plants, and they have provided good cover. I plan on doing this again near my deck/patio but would also like to place some plants out further into the yard. Does anyone have some ideas for flowers, ornamentals, or shrubs that are low maintenance and blend well with cannabis plants? I have found some good suggestions on other sites but they're mainly discussing very large plants that will conceal tall photoperiod grows. I'm just looking for something I can grow in a flowerbed or container garden with minimum fuss. I'm in the mid-Atlantic region of the US where summers are hot and humid. :thank:

Check out these jacobs ladders. We've had one for years in a planter and it just refuses to die. Comes out early and grows fast. Gives you bushiness and vertical height.

Scroll down to the picture at the bottom of this page. Looks like MJ's pretty cousin

you could also look at getting some holly bushes ... they're low maintenance once established. Also potato vines are VERY fast growing thought they don't get a lot of height, but if in a pot could mound up nicely.

Damn, stoner moment here. Forgot about my own thread... A big :slap: for the info cocolopez! Looking into the Jacob's Ladders as they may be perfect for one partially shaded spot I have in mind. I also keep seeing Cleome suggested so I'm on the hunt for some as well. Germinating some pole beans this week & I'm hoping to make a little trellis tower with those if they get big enough. :gthumb:

Oh snap those cleomes look like they'd be perfect ... I actually want to get some for my real garden lol

Just a side note AB,

You can buy red rubber balls, and stick them in the branches of your plants, and disquise them as tomato plants

:crying:

Sorry, couldn't resist

Peace

Yeah, think of all the autos that could nestle right in there unnoticed:

I did a double take when I saw the leaves!

Lol! I saw on some other site people talking about buying bushels of plastic flowers at the dollar store and tying them all over the plants. I'm looking for a little more natural solution. :smoke:

Brings back old memories of growing sativa bagseed many moons ago. We'd show up at the spot and almost sh!t a brick seeing they've grown 6 or 8 feet tall. Then comes the mad scramble to get those bitches tied down without breaking them. :roflcry:

i dint read the whole post sorry if someone mention this already but cleomes smell like weed when they die so maybe not the best camo. THe more plants the better IMHO
