New Grower can anyone help?

hi am a bit of a novice at this stuff but i have little exp i have done autos b4 but caught it bit late in the season as i live in uk n was working off the sun and have done photo aswell i do find autos easier and now am loo king at doing it again but using uv bulbs want to know if it is possible if it is what wattage the main thing i need to know is
what soil i need
do i need nutriants
what hours do i need them on and
how long do i have to leave them to be fully flowered

i am using auto ak 47 n am will b going on doing more others

What's a UV bulb? Most people use High pressure sodium (HPS) bulbs, Metal Hailide (MH), or fluorescent bulbs.

How big a space are you trying to grow in? How many plants are you trying to grow? what sized pots?

Florescent bulbs will work...higher wattages...long or short....as many as you can screw in although 1 will do ok....put'em bout 2-3 inches of ya plant.
T5 floros are great....I start all my babes under a 2ft 4 bulb T5....96 watts. Never finished under it...but did finish under a T12 2 bulb shop light... small yield BUT...will be the same quality regardless.
Soil is important...I use miracle grow but pic out the BB nutes...add 25-30 perlite....water once... patience is necessary to wait til pot dries up. no nutes for bout 3 weeks..then cautiously use grow/green til flower....then green and flowering.
BTW...I use small 2-3 ltr pots...you should know how the pot/soil weighs before watering.

Hi and welcome to AFN, what sort of area you working with? How many plants you getting on, I use HPS but others use LED,MH, fluoros's and get amazing results, I use Bio Bizz All Mix and the autos love it... What sort of budget you working with?

Welcome to AFN supremebud..head over to the into section and say hi so the peeps can meet you..https://www.autoflower.org/f35/ If I was you I would start with Muddys guide to autos..the way you grow is your own style and all depends if you want monsters then the more light with the best spectrum will be what you want..I use LED from GN and I love them..I havent grown with anything else but at 200 watts each they are killing it!I set my lights on 20/4 in veg and 18/6 in bloom ..but also I test 20/4 in bloom too..so its all with the strain really..autos are about knowing your seeds and its likes.:styles rasta:

thanks for the help the area i am working with is 3ft length height 6ft width 5 ft my budgiet is a minimal one due to my job paying out vary little and i intend on doing about 4-5 plants
