:smoking: you can snip them, if it's just a few,.. odd that you had a Ca defc. so early on though,..
Thanks for the advice...I'm not 100% certain it was ca Def ...I self diagnosed from hours of online research..what would you think yourself it may be .just from the images...it hasn't spread past the first set of leaves. .tia

...those fine spots scattered around hint strongly at Ca defc,... however, P defc is notorious for the larger patches of dead tissue between veins,... the two can have overlapping symptoms though, so other details help distinguish,...

K Im in bigger trouble than I thought ..iv chopped off those large infected leafs...problem seems to have spread 4 fold to the small fan leafs..Im no expert but my gut tells me ca Def. .and prob more possibly p Def also as you mentioned. ..I intend on getting a btl of cal mag but can't til Thursday. .do you think shel manage away til then or is there anything I can do to stop the rot ..for the record..there in straight soil..very light..I'm using only canna veg at the moment..plants are 35 days old ..il post a pic or 2 soon

Hope these can paint a clearer picture

Lots more info needed. That kind of spotting and necrosis in such a young plant is a big red flag.
I think it has to be related to your soil and/or pH levels, so there may or may not be an easy fix.
What soil are you using, what kind of water, and what pH is your water and soil?
Gotta be a big imbalance going on somewhere, Wag.
