- fine-ass '22 harvest!
...hmmm, I don't think she'll need 20 days mate,... as for "flushing", as in clearing out the soil of excess nute salts accumulated ( the plant absolutely does not get cleaned out that way), that depends on how heavily you've been feeding... again, this is P defc., but whether it's pH lock-out of lack of is what needs to be determined; as shown above by Frogster's post, if it's a lockout, then adding more nutes will make matters worse, not better! the P is there, but not available for uptake due to the chemistry changes and plant reaction to it,... the catch 22 here is, if it's just a lack of, then a soil flush will worsen the symptoms because what little was there has been further stripped away,.. typically, to avoid this to some degree, it's recommended to add about 1/4 strength nutes to final pour though,.. usually a flush runs about 2-3x the pot volume through it, as rapidly as is possible to minimize the smothering of the roots from waterlogged soil,... So, you can roll the dice and flush, then let her dry some, and add bloom nutes for a round or two before letting her sit a few days with no nutes at all, and let the soil dry out some,.. or add more bloom right now, pH'ed to around 7.0 (assuming the soil is too acidic, feeds are too), and see what happens,.. the tapping of the fans for P and other nutes is normal, it's a matter of how badly and fast it happens that determines in part what actions to take,... the buds do look great, so that's a good sign that she's sucking up the P and using it to good effect! Adn you don't want to hammer her with heavy feeds at this point either, so close to harvest,... watch the overall trichome color change carefully now; clear is immature, and new calyxes will have them regardless,.. cloudy/milky is peak ripeness,.. amber is the beginning of THC breakdown into CBN, which give a heavy sleepy effect,... how much amber is a personal choice for desired effect, and balanced against the strain's characteristics,... no point in ambering the hell out of a sativa dom. plant, taking away from the energetic buzz,...
