Indoor Can You Spray Essential Oils in Flower?

Working on my first tent grow and the hydro guy said I had thrips. Flower started about a week ago.

Can I spray essential oils like thyme during flower? I’ve read different opinions, but wasn’t clear if that only applied to Neem.

Was going to use the Buildasoil essential oil mix. Hydro guy recommend spinosad.

Am sure there will be a ton of opinions, personally nothing gets sprayed after the 3rd week. For me choices are ride it out or cull. Very rarely have I culled anything. Under 3 weeks, not a fan of chemicals, but am ok with the neem.
