I am looking at the 32x32 tent with 2-4 auto plants in coco coir in 3 gallon fabric pots in the autopots watering system for it. It has 1/4" tubing from the reservoir to the autopot trays on there.

I would like to use both drip clean and h2o2 peroxide. I would like to do a sterile growing environment but I also want to keep the tubing free of clogs on there. I have been told by a few people that you cannot use h2o2 with drip clean due to the peroxide would get rid of beneficial bacteria though it looks like the drip clean does not have bacteria and instead would work with the peroxide. I talked to people at house and garden and they said that you can use h2o2 with drip clean. They said you do not need to use both that the drip clean would keep the reservoir and tubing free of clogs though if you want to the peroxide would not keep the drip clean from working on there.

Does anyone else run a sterile growing environment with h2o2 that also uses the drip clean on there?

Using H2O2 will kill all, including beneficial, microbes; that's what 'sterile' means.

You need to check with Drip Clean manufacturer whether it will work or be inactivated by H2O2 - only they know the chemistry of their product.

What are you attempting to do? I'm trying to make sense of it... Do you know what h202 does in gardens? Why would you use two products at the same time that do the exact same thing? And like Bll asked, what is sterile? We are talking about growing plants in tents.. There is nothing sterile about that process. If your question is can you use h202 with drip clean, I would say no.. I wouldn't even consider it. That's literally mixing chemicals.. Absolutely no point in taking that risk.. Use products as they are instructed to be used. And what on earth are you gonna be running through those lines that would require that much maintenance/cleaning? Organics and reservoirs have never played nice, that's common knowledge.. autopot also warns of using certain organic nutrients in the res because some are known to clog.

Thanks. I talked to the manufacturer and they said that you can use drip clean with h2o2 though you would not need to. I want to use the drip clean to keep the tubing free of clogs and for the benefits of removing extra salts from the pots and I want to use the h2o2 to keep the reservoir clean to where I only need to clean it by hand once every few months on there. The nutrients are gh main 3 with calmag with silicon on there.
