The right use of C02 might have benefits

I'm happy to supply a testicle and say pure O2 bubbling is pretty stupid and any benefit would be isolated and any benefit would be far outweighed by the effort to ensure using it actually ended up delivering a result

CO2 is a heavier than air, gas, and can pool in a basement shed or other building granted there has to be a lot of it to kill you but.............

Hey fettle- engineers are college trained experts, no? I need an engineer’s opinion please about pure O2… will pure oxygen really explode like acetylene, propane or gasoline? By buds say it will, but they are stoned all the time.

A classic example of being stupid and learning the hard way. These rocket scientists burned up a rocket and themselves with pure O2. They blew-off O2 safety and electricity and paid dearly.

On January 27, 1967, the crew of Apollo 1 was killed during a routine pre-launch test. A wire arced in the spacecraft, and that spark turned into a raging fire in the pressurized pure oxygen environment.
