Live Stoner Chat Cant upload pictures from phone ?

Juste got a New phone its a Android and I cant upload pictures for my grow journal , but I was able with my old iphone 6 before .. sorry for posting this here didnt know where to , THX for any help ?

Yeah, I had the same problem when I first got on here. The problem is the file size is too big. You’ll need to resize the image. It’s also a good idea to remove any identifying data from your images - the “EXIF data” - at the same time. On my iPhone I downloaded a program called “Image Size” from vsmedia.de on the App Store. I resize images to about 700x700 pixels and they upload properly, quickly and display full size without slowing down the page loading. I like this WAY better than thumbnails anyway. It only cost a couple of bucks for the premium version; but there are all sorts of apps for resizing photos. Reduce the image sizes to something more web-appropriate and you’ll have no issues getting them to load properly here on AFN.

FWIW - I use an app called “EXIF Viewer” from Fluunto for removing all the EXIF data. It was also only a few dollars on the App Store. Although, I think there’s a setting in the resize app I mentioned above that allows you to opt to NOT copy the EXIF data from an image when you resize it. SO, this EXIF Viewer might not be needed.
