My 6" Phresh filters have most consistently lasted just about 2 years. You will know when the odor becomes more prevalent.

I agree with @AutoWonders and @Tbag just dont go buying the cheap ones with no brand, its always worth spending that bit more for a quality filter. Phresh, CAN and Rhino are some good brands
