Day 57, full update.


Things are going great, i have only 1 def. problem with the unknown one, which im pretty sure its a Hubabbubbam., which i can see a very violet,purple stems, which its if im not wrong a cal/mag def, .... same thing happened to me before, i guess the problem its coming from the light source, the CFL's i guess have something to do with cal/mag def .... i guess i should increase the dose, instead of 1.5ml x L, use 2.5ml ..... i guess its something to try on my next grow, it was more sever with the Hubbabuba then the others 2, with shows to me, a little cal/mag def.. Beside that, i have to say that i never had such a frost like the one on Heisenberg, really incredible beautiful !!!! and i still have like 15 more days to go ...... so im really really happy with it.

My experience with the dark purple stems was a potassium deficiency, especially if they are flowering. I had to add potassium due to my nute line lacking in it.

I would agree, however you can have differences between strains, etc.

Calcium def would show as rust spots or a general lighting of leaves since it's required for full N utilization. Mag def would be a lightening between veins of the leaves. Can go all the way to necrosis.

@Vorkosigan and @jingo, this purple thing happens around day 30, so im not sure it will be Potassium ....., at the time, i increase a bit the cal/mag sub and looks like she stopped the purple thing .... i did had this problem before,and many other people point me at cal/mag def.,, now im really confused !

You may be adjusting the pH of your medium with the Cal Mag and that changes the uptake of nutrients, since I grow in Cocoa I never worry about the pH of my medium just the pH of my nutrient solution.

Im also using soil, and BioBizz nut, so its should buffer with no prob, still, i do ph everything at 6.8., only the unknown one has some more serious purple thing, not the other 2. So the strain also may be involved in this i guess....... thanks for the tips anyways @jingo !!
