This is what JM provides as well from Muddy ..
I was trying to get that they are more powerful for less watts ...that being said u can focus on the Radiation/penetration from the power PAR provides ...

Better penetration means those lower hidden NUGGS will get some love as well ....
Does this make better sence ????

yes, he talks a lot about the led chip in that interview... the chips (LEDS) have a parabolic refelctor and lens built in (very small scale) hard to see..

This is a very responsive forum, SwampMan, I'm really liking the guidance....I need it! So, thanks to everyone for their input. I'll have to do a lot of trial-and-error no matter what, but this site is going to minimize it. I will only have room for one plant at a time, and I'm sure that I will screw up and lose a plant in my early days, but...such is life.

The UFO I MENTION ..sorry ...is around 145$ Gotham hydroponics ...i used it on a girl in a gallon and she did really well ...
Its also good to get as much info before u begin ...
that UFO IS MAYBE 8in in diameter and lights up a good space ...they also ha e a 135 w for around 180 ..
