Cheers for the rep bro,, was reading one of you old grows from 2011 earlier, from back when you was a guest lol ( at least assume it was you, same screen name.).
Have a toke on this my friend :Sharing One::)

This sounds right, however testing on clones would be needed to confirm it:)
I only want to add some spectrums I recorded, the 6500K and 2700K cfls in this post.

Sorry mate, seem to have missed your post, great info dude, if you dont mind please could you give me the name for the piece of equipment used to analyse the spectrum, so i can grab one myself ?, cheers !:dance2:

Yep, same guy. I had some personal problems and had to leave the site for a while. I'm glad that my old journals still survive on AFN as they've been helpful to me as I get my new grow space up and running. Hopefully I'll be popping some beans within the next 3 weeks or so, and I'll do a detailed journal as always. "Bailers Booya"

Haha you make it sound like you killed a hooker and had to lay low for a while xD
I don't mean to cause offense, just a joke :P, been playing gta so yeah..

When you do get that grow underway, drop me a pm so i can sub, and at the end be sure to do a smoke report, i love reading them, so do most people on the site, and they help users make informed decisions about what strains to purchase based on fact, not marketing. Your old journals were interesting to read btw, kudos.

Cheers for the contribution to the thread bro, by looking at that, incandescent lights are quite strong in yellows ( 550nm ish ), but also seem to be quite rounded on most of the spectrum, although intensity is low, might be worth it to put a few in, but be careful of heat, those things get hot!. If anyone ever has the oppertunity to test a combination of lights with cloned genetics, same environmental conditions, nutes, etc etc please do so - would help a lot of people out. :peace:
1!

I run with all three types of CFL's 6500k, 4200k, and the 2700k. I keep the 42's in full time and just remove a couple 65's to the 2700's but keep a couple of the 6500k's hooked up on the ends of my light setup. I find that it gives me perfectly hard buds with a shit load of crystals. Just have to keep the lights close to the canopy and have a fan runnin to keep the heat down to a minimun or things start gettin crispy. Thanks for keeping CFL's fresh in growers heads man. So many of us out there, I would like to upgrade to led's oneday.

Exactly what i will be running in the summer, with the addition of 2x uv tubes :).
Glead to hear that setup gives a good product, more than welcome bro, indeed there are. I was looking at led's the other day actually, but the cheaper ones that are in my current budget are abit crap if im frank, so im going to go with cfl and save up and get a nice set of led lights when the time is right, they are evolving even now - and im sure the led's in a few years will be better than now. Sometimes it pays to wait, rather than jump straight in.
